Baron (lab) and Bimba (pit) are enjoying the cooler weather. Baron is a social butterfly, and we are using him to help show Bimba the ropes. She can be dog dominant, and we asked Baron for his help to show her how she is to act on walks. We start with obedience because let's face it, what dog doesn't need refined obedience? But it's also a way to teach the dog not to tune out a humans voice while playing or in an aroused state of mind. They did great throughout the neighborhood, and we will plan to up the stimulation as training progresses.
