We go live with our new practice management software in clinic today. Our staff has worked hard to train for the new software over the last month and feel ready for this exciting step forward! However, please be patient while we make adjustments this week.

After careful deliberation, we have made the decision to switch our medical records system within the clinic beginning February 4th. In time, this change will allow our clinic to decrease our paper use and provide valuable electronic medical records.

The new software will also allow us to change from AllyDVM (our current online app) to one better integrated with our new system called Pet Portal. Pet Portal will allow our staff and you, our client, to communicate via text message. It will also allow you to make prescription refill requests, appointment requests, and to have access to your pet’s vaccine records on demand. This system will be our primary means of delivering both text reminders and email reminders for your pet’s upcoming appointments and needed services.

We are excited about this new adventure and new software! Our staff has been diligently training to provide a seamless transition. However, we ask for patience in the first weeks of our transition while we adjust to using the new system.

With longer holiday closures, we always have an increase in the amount of prescription refill requests. Please make your prescription requests early if possible to allow time for doctor review and fulfillment of the order.

Please be aware, we will be unavailable from December 22nd to December 26th and will be unable to process online prescription requests during that time period.
