All animals are susceptible to allergies, even the "hypoallergenic" breeds, so its important to know the signs and causes of allergies in our furry friends! Some breeds are more susceptible than others, those breeds include, Bulldogs, Pugs, Retriever's, Cocker Spaniels, and more. 🐶🤧
Allergies can occur from a number of things, but the biggest ones being, outside/plants, pollen, bacteria, or general dust/ dander. You can see a number of symptoms from allergies that include skin/ hair coat issues, GI issues, or other hygiene related symptoms. ✨🐾

👉Meet the Staff Monday! 👈
Abraham has just joined the kennel staff here at Wellspring. This is his first job working in veterinary medicine and he has been very enthusiastic about starting something new! ✨
He has always wanted to work with animals and has dreams of becoming a vet later in life! His role here currently involves walking boarders, feeding them, cleaning runs/cages, and general chores around the clinic that help us stay clean and tidy for our fur patients. His favorite animal is a penguin- due to their family mentality, and agility! 🐧
Outside of work Abraham still attends school and church! Outside of that, he loves to play video games, get some energy out with his dogs, and loves to read the bible.

✨Meet The Staff Monday✨
🟣Now here's a face you probably recognize around Wellspring! Shantelle is one of our esteemed registered veterinary technicians that has been here over 2 years. She has been working with animals since high school, participating in FFA, volunteering at shelters, and was a veterinary assistant for a couple years as well. 🐶
🟣She graduated WSU with her Veterinary Nursing degree in 2022 and has been working with us since! Shantelle helps run surgeries, anesthesia, dentals, administers treatments, vaccines, and much, much more. She loves ensuring that your pets are taken care of and receive the best physical care they can. 🤓
🟣Her favorite animal is a horse, ever since she was little, they have represented a sense of freedom to her, but pitties can still steal her heart when she's around them.
Outside of work Shantelle loves fostering for the local rescues, caring for her 4 pets that are pictured, crocheting, reading, and pretty much anything artistic! 🖌
