We lost a conservation legend today. Jane Goodall didn’t just change how we think about chimpanzees; she changed how people think about all forms of life.

Jane reminded us that compassion is a form of understanding. That we must look closer, listen longer, and care even when the creature in front of us is misunderstood, unusual, or… different.

She once said, “Only if we understand can we care. Only if we care will we help.” That wasn’t just about the forests of Africa, that was her blueprint for everything.
