Rio beak was very over grown when I got him . You can tell the difference in his beak with trimming and feather growth with good diet !

FROZEN -mix vegetables. DRY -oatmeal, chia seed , flax seed and hulled h**p seeds . FRESH -kale , poblano peppers, colored sweet peppers 🌶, green beans , celery , carrots , yellow neck /zucchini squash, brussel sprouts . Loaded cornbread made with water instead milk - mixed vegetables, flax and chia seed , hulled h**p seeds, canned pumpkin , kale 🥬and blueberries 🫐. ALWAYS remove fresh food from your birds cage with in 2 hours!

If your bird has never had fresh chop or mash . I suggest you start with loaded corn bread. 1. Take all birds food away at bedtime in the morning offer loaded kcorn bread only with only a few seeds. Remove before 2 hours then later in day offer regular food . 2. Remove all food again and repeat for a week . Most birds by this time have likening or love for loaded cornbread. 3. After 1 week start offering fresh ( mash best to start new birds) sprinkled with seed and some loaded cornbread ! Put chop / mash on top so they did through it to get to what they prefer ! 4. After time you can eliminate the seed. Some birds will take to it instantly and some few days some a few weeks plus ! I have converted so many older rescues that have been on all seed diet years this way .You just have to offer daily and consistently!!! I promise you they will eventually start eating if you do not give up! Sadly moist people give up too soon 😩Each bird is different you might have to add favorite food over fresh . Example-One of my birds only ate crackers and chicken in past home , so I took chicken broth and crumbled up crackers and stuck it over the fresh to get him to eat . Now he eats fresh no issues and no adding crackers or chicken broth ! Any questions just PM . I will do what I can to help get your bird on a more healthier diet!!

Attention bird owners in the Wichita area, I am now offering bird trimming services. I have been doing this for a few people for quite some time now, including my own birds for years. 😊 References are available upon request. Lot experience with scissor beaks . There will be a 10 trip fee for visits to your home in Wichita and surrounding towns. If you live more than 20 miles, we’ll have to discuss a higher trip fee.
