‼️😩 FRIENDLY DOG NEEDS OUT OF SHELTER😩‼️

Cooper was recently surrendered to the Ponca City Animal Shelter for chewing on things when left home alone. He is a sweet boy who is house trained and dog and kid friendly! He seems like an active dog who was bored and just needed a little support. Kenneling when away from home, providing bones or toys to chew on and tear up or providing extra exercise before being left alone are all things that can help. We are not sure what other circumstances led to this decision, but we know Cooper needs help! Let’s find this sweet boy the second chance he deserves!!

Mash is as sweet and snuggly (and oh-so-soft!) as they come…once he earns your trust. He can be a bit anxious in new situations and when meeting new people, so slow introductions are key! It's best to meet him through a kennel or on a leash to help him feel comfortable.

While he may be a little fearful of men, he absolutely adores the ladies and gets along well with kids. However, he’s a big guy who doesn’t realize his size, so older kids might work best for him. Mash is dog-friendly and loves to play with my resident pup, making him a perfect addition to a multi-dog household.

Mash enjoys car rides, walks, and especially playing with his stuffies. One of his all-time favorite activities is spending time outdoors—he would be in heaven with a yard and a 6-foot privacy fence to explore and play in!
This big, goofy, playful, loving pup needs an adopter who will help him work through his anxieties and continue to blossom into the amazing companion he’s meant to be.

This girl is said to be incredibly gentle & quiet. The perfect little slice of peace and happiness. She is so stressed in the shelter, panting and refusing the hotdog bites that were offered to her in the video (link below). , Poor girl is as sweet as can be though. She came in as a stray but sadly no one came to claim her so this beautiful girl is now looking for a new home to take her in and give her a second chance at life.

‼️PERFECT GENTLEMAN NEEDS HELP OUT OF SHELTER‼️

This gorgeous guy thought to be a boxer/lab mix came in as a stray. He has a chip but unfortunately the information is out of date and the previous owner on the chip cannot take him back. He is a perfect gentleman and so well potty trained he will not p*e in his kennel. He has been friendly with the other dogs in the shelter. Please help this darling boy find a new home!! 🙏

‼️🆘 BLIND BOY FIRM EUTH DEADLINE TUESDAY 1/14 🆘‼️

T-Bone urgently needs your help!! 😭 The person who picked him up as a stray said they found this boy wandering around running into things! Once he got into the shelter it was realized just how bad of shape he is in! This poor boy is blind out of both eyes; both ears are caulifloured and have swelled shut from severe infection; he is limping on his hind left leg and has a small amount of swelling around front L knee also. He is in poor shape but is said to be just as sweet as they come!!

Can’t anyone help this poor fella before it’s too late?! 😭⏰

They’ve had minimal shares and still not even having a single serious inquiry! 😭 Tragically, these babies are PAST DEADLINE and are living on borrowed time. Carnegie is a small town in Oklahoma around an hour and a half away from OKC. It is an all outdoor shelter where dogs have 10 days to find placement or they will be euthanized. There are no adoption fees but adopters will have to show proof of spay/neuter and vaccinations of dog.

⭐COURTESY POST- Hunter⭐

This sweet hound mix named Hunter was found dumped on a farm. His finder found him emaciated and suffering. They have had him for awhile and have fattened him up a bit. He reportedly might have a hip issue since he favors that one side a little bit, but he still jogs around. Hunter is scared of fireworks and gun shots, is potty trained, good with kids, small and big dog friendly, but no cats for him. He’s a lazy boy. He goes outside to potty, play a bit, then wants back inside. He lays on his bed all day with his blankie. He is just a super chill, lovable dude!

Unfortunately, the finder is unable to keep him much longer and is looking for a foster or adopter for Hunter ASAP! If placement is not secured, he sadly will be taken to a local shelter where he may not make it out alive due to his possible injury. Please help!

⛓️⛓️‍💥 CHAIN DOG IS FREE- NEEDS LOVING FAMILY AND FRESH START 🙏

Ralph has endured unbelievable cruelty in his life but you wouldn’t be able to tell by meeting him. Up until now his life was spent on a chain, suffering, starving, and exposed to the elements day and night. 💔 Luckily, someone saw something and said something and Ralph was saved. He came into the Wellington pound with a chain collar so embedded in his neck that it had to be surgically removed. He was emaciated, full of fleas, and had hair loss. He has received care for his condition and has recovered well! He is now healthy and happy!

Ralph has transferred to the Wellington Humane Society and has been signed over by his owner but hasn’t gotten much interest in the small shelter with limited exposure. He is ready for adoption and just needs to find a family to love him! He is THE SWEETEST BOY despite all he has been through! He is very affectionate, seems great with other dogs, and does good on a leash. It is unknown how he does with cats, but the shelter is recommending no small children as they seem to make him nervous.

Sadly, Ralph’s neglect/abuse case is still pending in court and no outcome has been issued. Historically, Kansas does not prosecute animal abuse heavily and Ralph may never get the legal justice he deserves. But we CAN find him a home and a happily ever after, far away from the monster who mistreated him so badly. Ralph deserves to find love and we are praying our followers can help! Please SHARE Ralph’s story to help him find a home!! 🙏

🚨HOMELESS IN SHELTER AT ONLY 9MOS OLD💔🚨

Coco needs help!! This sweet pup was surrendered to the City of Chanute Animal Shelter because he has a tendency to mouth with pressure when he gets overly excited. He doesn’t do it all the time, and was able to play with a local volunteer for over an hour with no issues. Coco is a very good boy who just needs proper training to correct his bad habit!

The shelter is no place for such a young pup! Please help get sweet Coco out of this kennel!! 🙏

Mama Frankie has been doing great since all of her babies have been adopted! She’s a petite little girl and cute as can be! She’s even made new friends of all sized dogs and cats. She has also been going outside to potty without any accidents! We are still working with building up her confidence and trust with people but she has made such incredible progress 🎉

‼️😩6MO OLD PUPPY STILL WAITING FOR A FAMILY‼️

Spooky is still in the shelter waiting on a forever family. His sister has been adopted and he is on his own. He was adopted briefly but quickly returned for chewing on stuff when alone. He was not kenneled when home alone and was not in the adopters’ home long enough to be trained. He is just a puppy who needs guidance. 😓 Spooky is only 6 months old! It is not his fault humans have not taught him, and it should not cost his life!! Sadly the shelter cannot hold him forever and Spooky must find a foster or adopter to be saved!!

BOTH this boy AND his brother are tagged for @Safely Sheltered Animal Rescue and will be making their way to Iowa in only a few short days!! Since our founding in October 2014, we have been able to save the lives of over 2000 death row animals, we have also been able to network out over 1100 animals to other rescues. We are a completely 100% volunteer run rescue, we also rely on 100% donations from our followers and supporters to carry out our mission to save animals in our community.

Our purpose is to rescue death row animals from the shelter and in our community and place them in foster homes where they can receive the care and training needed to become family pets. Our main mission is to change these animals’ worlds one rescue at a time. Another large part of our mission is to be a voice for animals in need throughout our community and we are proud to say we have been able to make an impact on the streets of our city as well.
