So… here’s an update on ranch reservations. I’ve got RV spots and pens or stalls open for all the ropings around town to get ready for Vegas week. The barn apartment, little house and studio are booked up from 11/29-12/9. Holler at me if you need an RV spot!!

Up early this Labor Day to work horses then gave them a full on spa day. Gypsy’s coat looks incredible since adding Vitamin E to her feed to improve her skin. Gus has his tail up as he’s got a very busy fall and winter show season coming up-needs to grow out a bit so we’re getting ready!

Here’s a nose boop from Gypsy❤️

I’m happy to report that the main house at the ranch is now fully cleaned and all repairs have been made. The painter is working as we speak and the carpets are being cleaned a second time on 9/2 with a different machine and cleaner as some stains remain.
I’ve got towels and linen and pillows and other household items coming in now.
These tenants robbed the house of everything from comforters to the propane tank for the grill!
Anyway, my point is this huge project of rehabbing the main house is nearly complete and I finished my last course and final exam for Advanced Prompt Engineering for AI which completes the last module of my course work for my accounting firm.
This frees up a ton of time to spend working my horses and I promise more photo updates!

Today is the five year anniversary of moving to my ranch!

I remember that day like yesterday. It was day 4 of moving in 115 degree heat. I was exhausted and I was scared and I was in disbelief. Right about this time of 2:30 pm I had just gotten Nipper and Gus moved in and they were just fine. I was heading back for one last load and my buddy Arlo. I was shaking and lightheaded dragging my big horse trunks into the tack room and willing myself on through the sweat and the fear with sheer grit.
In these five years, I have grown so much in every possible way. I finally learned to let go of all the things holding me back spiritually and emotionally. My world has become shaped into one that utilizes my strengths, offers me gratification and applauds my successes.
That afternoon 5 years ago when I was reaching down hard for all that I had left in me was the beginning of a new chapter I couldn’t possibly have imagined. And I’m still happily writing the book!

I’m strong, because of my pride
