This is Mollie Odom. She went missing last night around Flint Creek. She was last seen with her housemate Dollie (who has since been found) and a black and tan hound dog. She's microchipped, so, if found, please bring her to our clinic so we can reunite her with her family."

🔎Microscope Monday🔎 In a heartworm infected dog (already bitten by an infected mosquito) adult female heartworms release their offspring, called microfilariae, into the dog's bloodstream. Then that microfilariae will develop into a larva that can be transmitted to the next dog or cat. Here is a video of microfilariae under the microscope.
