Aubrey and I groomed our first malamute Wolf mix the other day. Koromaru is 18 months old and this was his first groom. He was an absolute doll and behaved wonderfully! We went through a bunch of doggy treats, but we got the job done. Such a fun day.!

Yesterday I was assisted by Addi at the shop. Addi loves animals and is interested in learning about dog grooming. She did a great job cleaning up the mess behind me and most of all she was so calming to our client, Sunny. Sunny was nervous while getting her nails, trimmed, and Addi calmly reassured Sunny that she would be just fine. And we were able to clip all of Sunny’s nails.

This afternoon was tough! Went out to help Kari put some splints on a twin calf that was struggling with standing and walking , and ended up being with a baby calf as it took its final breath.
Kari was so strong and compassionate . The calf that passed ended up giving his life for the twin that couldn’t walk properly. By the time we got out to put the splints on the calf, he had stood up and started taking steps on his own. So instead of splints, he got a new coat, so the mama would accept him as her own. What an emotional day!

Many people come into the shop and the first thing they mention is the giant netted tent. No, I am not providing a play area for the dogs, even though some of them use it for that. The tent is to contain all the dog hair when I am blow drying dogs that are shedding heavily. Huskies, German, Shepherd, labs, etc. This is a picture of the hair that came off of three German shepherds.

Today I used Jenny Haden’s dog walking services. Qaeda Really needs to be walked more than I am able.

Tex is getting freshened up today! He loves a bath and a blow dry but getting his nails clipped is his least favorite thing. Today we will see how he does on his prescription anti-anxiety meds. Say a prayer.❤️

Improvements are coming! The shop is getting painted and adding some new items for your pets. It won’t happen overnight, but hopefully over the next couple months we will have things up and ready for you! One edition will be clothes and safety items for your dogs. Here are a couple samples.

Oh sweet Leo❤️ Leo is all about the belly rubs! He even rolls over on his back for the blow dryer. A groomers dream.!! How did I get so lucky to have so many wonderful dogs!!

Pumpkin was in need of haircut! We removed hair in layers and Pumpkin was a perfectly patient poodle! He would most definitely be a comedian if he could speak! 😂🤗

Tilly Mallon is a golden retriever with the biggest grin! She shows all of her pearly whites, until I get the camera out, of course!😂 But she did reach out for a shake.🤗 she has a heart of gold!
