We are full of excitement for these 20 babies and can only hope for a couple that follow in the paw prints of their parents!

The rex show team is going to look a lot different without these two girls!
Broadfoot's Taco. This girl all won all over. Day after nationals BOB, convention BOV, a BIS and many best of breeds at local shows. She racked up 13 legs since April but now it's time to breed her. She's going to 2BY2's Hank the sire to our national winner from this year.

A-Z's Mocha. She is a full sib to our nationals winner from this year. For a bit she lived in her sisters shadow but after we retired her she took over the spot light. Winning 1st white junior doe at nationals and the day after, she has also won many BOB against taco and racked up 10 legs herself. She'll be taken home and bred to our new Broadfoots buck.

Hopefully with these two litters we'll add some color to our rex. As right now all we breed for is whites.

Since we came back from convention it's time to retire two of our best girls. Lalaland retires with 13 legs and a reserve in show and Rabbit retires with 10 legs! Both these girls are bred to A-Z's M&M(who has racked up 21 legs and counting) and due within the next two weeks.
With that said it's time to bring up some of the next babies to join the show team in the next couple weeks.

1st convention down!! We have had an amazing time and have got to visit with so many amazing breeders!! We’re of course coming home with some extra buns too. We didn’t have any super huge wins but we definitely held our own in the HUGE mini Rex classes. We took 17 rabbits and only had 5 out of the top ten which is a win for us! The biggest win for us though in mini Rex was having the CHOCOLATE otter doe place 2nd in a large class!

Mini rex herd buck appreciation post! These are our main boys that we use the most and some of their offspring.

A-Z's Greenland 8 legs (Cross B Ireland x A-Z's George) born in December of 2022 he still looks nice and throws a great body on his babies

Next is A-Z's M&M 19 legs (ZBAR's Messa Pride's Candy x Maple Ridge's Thug) born in June of 2023 he's still showing great getting a BOB two weekends ago. He puts a nice deep body on his babies with great density and texture. His oldest baby is around 8 months old and already has 6 legs with limited showing

We attended the Texas panhandle rabbit breeders association youth show a couple weekends ago and had an amazing time. It was nice to be able to go to a bit smaller show and relax and enjoy ourselves a bit.

I hardly got any photos of the last show between how hot it was and running the tables, but we had a great time at the SWRRBA/Texas double youth run show. The AC in the building did go out and we had a rough time keeping everyone cool in the car but we managed and kept everyone safe. We had a great time winning mini Rex twice, Rex once, and a BIS show with a Rex!

Cleaning day!
Cleaning day!

After 12 hours of work yesterday Zoey and me got every cage, mat, bowl, and tray power washed cleaned the whole barn and now after TWO years we FINALLY have brand new flooring and walls. I wish I had taken a before video but before this the walls and floors were bare wood. This has changed our barn so much!
