Calling all the dogs to the yard for a Rock & Roll night! Serendipity German Shepherd Dog Rescue ( SGSDR ), is raising the roof with their Rock & Roll Bingo event March 8th! This rager is going to have free drinks, raffles, auctions, and games! If you are interested in getting out to boogey that night, doors open at 6pm. Tickets may be purchased through their email, or you can just give them a ring. Now get those tails wagging and get your bingo on!

Maddie’s interest in the veterinary field was sparked at the age of 5 when her family got their first puppy, Molly. She decided that she wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine so she could help other pet families. Maddie attended The Academy of Pet Careers and graduated in 2023 as a Vet Assistant. Maddie has studied Fear Free practices, which means she excels at making our most timid and nervous patients feel at home. Dogs and cats aren’t the only thing she cares for, though; she is the epitome of a “team player” and is always looking out for the Cherry Hills Vet crew. Whether it is slowing down to train a new staff member or staying late to help make sure the hospital is in top shape for the next day, Maddie is an asset to her fellow teammates. Maddie is also the proud dog mom of Zoey, her golden retriever.

Please join us in welcoming our newest Veterinary Assistant, Sarah!

Sarah was born in Princeton, New Jersey, and moved to the St. Louis area when she was four years old. She began her career working with animals at the Missouri Department of Conservation after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Science and Management from Mizzou. Although she loved her work, Sarah wanted to continue working with animals in a more hands-on, medical setting. She is currently pursuing an associate degree in Veterinary Technology at Midwest Institute while working as an assistant at Cherry Hills Veterinary Hospital. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends. 🐾

Help us in welcoming our new Veterinary Assistant, Trishia!

Trishia, a native to Missouri, has over 20 years of experience with animals and has worked locally in the veterinary industry since 2017. She has been employed in a variety of roles, including practice management. As a veterinary nurse at Cherry Hills, Trishia excels at providing Fear Free and compassionate care to our most sensitive and timid patients.

She is our resident “gentle vampire” and is highly skilled at phlebotomy and obtaining lab samples. Trishia is always eager to learn new things and is great at mentoring others who are just starting their veterinary career.
When Trishia isn’t busy raising her two teenage boys and taking care of her 2yr lab/shepherd mix, Henrietta, she enjoys lending a hand at her friend’s rescue ranch, collecting moss, and taking naps. She has an affinity for black cats and even has three of her own!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our wonderful patients and clients!!! We hope this year brings you all lots of treats and belly rubs! The hospital will be closed today in observation of New Years Day and will reopen the following day, Thursday, January 2nd.
