Spring has sprung!
This video was actually filmed last week, forgive my laziness. The bees are already building up, even saw a few drones already and itās not even February yet.
Happy chickens make beautiful eggs.
One of our wonderful customers brought the girls over some left over pumpkins. I would say they are most appreciative!

Chickens love pumpkin
One of our wonderful customers brought some pumpkins for the girls. They obviously are very appreciative! Donāt throw out your pumpkins donate them to your local farms.
Fall in the bee yard, time for some house cleaning. Resources in the hive are extremely important in the winter. When it is warm many plants are blooming and that makes it much easier to find nectar and pollen. The winter not so much, which means itās time to bring the bee population down. One way to do that is kick all the drones (male bees) out of the hive.
