We welcome Leroy ( little G) back to our home . He is almost 5. His dad could not keep him . He did the right thing and contacted us . We are happy to have him back home where he will stay .

We didn't want to keep you hanging any longer. So many people have been asking.
We have expanded our Irish Setter family to now include English Setters.

We had planned on announcing our big changes to Southern Redheads Kennel but with the passing of our sweet Paddy on Father's Day, we were emotionally reluctant to do so. With a lot of thought, we realized maybe this was part of a greater plan.

You know of the old saying things happen for a reason. We will never truly know why Paddy chose to leave us the day we picked up Maddie (Stagedoor Blue Skies).

We want to Thank Joan Savage and Kate Simon for entrusting us with Maddie. With the help of our wonderful handler, Kellie Dahlberg, we hope to make them proud in the show ring.

Today started with the terrible news our beloved Ol' Paddy Boy had passed away in his sleep last night.

We are deeply saddened and devastated by our loss. Our memories of the wonderful moments we had with Paddy will eventually help to heal the emptiness we feel in our hearts but for now, the pain is as deep as our love for Paddy.

Anyone who has suffered from the loss of a pet knows it is a loss of a family member. We feel that loss today.

Paddy taught us what unconditional love and loyalty really mean. Paddy faced physical challenges from birth but it never slowed him down. He showed us what grit and determination look like.

He was a wonderful friend and companion for fourteen years. He will be missed but he will be in our hearts forever. Paddy Boy, goodbye old friend, and please give our love to Kelly, Molly, Maggie, Rusty, Mickey, Buddy, and Charlie when you meet them at Rainbow Bridge.
We love you.
See you at the bridge.
