The amount of no shows is out of control once again!! My system sends 3 reminders for appointments, please cancel if you can not make scheduled appointment! No-shows not only affect the business but also my staff in their ability to hit bonus goals and also results in cut hours! As of today OCT 1st there will be no more passes on No-shows $25 per dog for 1st offense and must be paid prior to booking next appointment! 2nd time we will no longer be able to service your pets! I'm sorry it's got to this point but we have lost almost 8k in expected revenue due to no- shows appointments this year so far! To cancel you have many options available click the need to cancel link in reminder text,text shop number,call shop number and leave voice mail or Facebook messenger!
****Any No shows between now and December will not be rescheduled until after the first of the year as this is our busy holiday time often with a waiting list I can't fill when appointments are not canceled!!!

Thank you to the pups I had to cancel yesterday for being understanding and all the love you guys sent my way!! One of the hardest days of my life helping my old pup cross the rainbow bridge! I will be contacting you all in the next couple days to get you back on the schedule as soon as possible! Those that have have left voicemails and text I will get to you as soon as I can as well please be patient with me!

This sweet guy will be up for adoption soon at the Huron County Dog Warden we had the pleasure of cleaning him up a bit! He is a super sweet boy,shy, crate trained and very quiet would be an excellent lap dog for an adult home!

NO SHOW FEE
If appointment is not cancelled (via phone, text or Facebook messenger OR reminder system ) and you no show for appointment you will be charged 50% of MISSED scheduled service before scheduling another appointment. SECOND offense I will no longer book your pet for services NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

BEHAVIOR
If your pet has a health issue or behavior (biting, cage aggression, very timid, Doesn't like other dogs, barker, ect. ) let me know WHEN scheduling so I can best schedule around these things for your pet and my staffs safety!

EXPRESS APPOINTMENTS
If you want to wait for your dog to be done straight through with no crate or rest time (if possible for your pet) as some pets need more time and breaks to be safely done! I need to know at booking average time of normal appointment are (per dog) 1:30-2hours small/med dogs and 3-4+ for large and extra large dogs!
EXPRESS time typically 1hour small,1:30hour med and 2-230hour large+ dogs. the fee for
this service is $15 small under 20lbs $25 20-45lbs $35 over 45lbs

PICK UP TIME
Time given for pick up is an estimated time. I try my best to stay on time but at the end of the day I am working on live animals who sometimes have their own time lines. please wait for my call or text before you return to pick up! IF you do show up before my call/text PLEASE do not come in if you see your dog on the grooming table as they get very excited and can make it next to impossible to finish safely once they see owner!

MATTED PETS
Dog requiring being shaved before bath due to excessive matting will be charged a matted pet fee as unwashed hair is extremely hard on my equipment and takes more time and skill to get the matting off safely $10 under 20lbs $20 20lbs-40LBS, $30 over 40LBS

A little info about the dog flu/illness going around! I am doing my best to stay up to date as more information becomes available! I am currently using veterinarian grade cleaning agents on cages and surfaces! I don't allow dogs to interact, although they are kenneled in the same area! Any dog with any of the known symptoms will be sent home at check in. If your dog is not acting "normal" then it's best to reschedule at this time out of an abundance of caution! As of now there are no confirmed cases in ohio but reports of it being here. I am staying in contact with local vets and keep monitoring the updates! I understand if you are uncomfortable keeping appointments at this time but please notify me if you would like to cancel!

It's that time again! Any one wanting to help can stop in anytime (mon-fri 9-3) to pick a kiddo ,or donate new,unwrapped toys for kids newborn-teen and we will get them to a kiddo in need! Want to help but don't have time to shop I can use donations of gift cards/cash to shop for you!

UPDATE!!! We failed and Misty is now her new home!! She couldn't take her back in when she went to drop her off!🥰
We did this super sweet old girl today she needs a retirement home!! Very calm,sweet,gentle and quiet! She is at Huron County Dog Warden! I have sponsored her adoption fees someone go get her and give her the life she deserves!

Current clients!! If you have not made and want holiday appointments we need to get them booked soon! I am putting a temporary hold on new client bookings until January to ensure all current clients are able to get the last few holiday spots available! NO SHOWS between now and January will not be rebooked period! I'm turning away dogs daily and no shows cost me not only the dog that didn't show but possible new clients as well that I havevbeen refering out to other groomers for most of the year! I have been more than gracious with accommodations for those that have "forgotten " my current system sends 3 reminders for booked appointments! 110 no shows this year so far, which equals $1000s in lost revenue in order to keep my prices as affordable as possible this can't continue as of today there will be no more passes on NO SHOW fees I'm sorry it's come to this but it's out of control. You can call,text,Facebook message or message the reminder link to cancel ahead of time!

Coming in to the new year I am having to make some changes! I am moving to a digital schedule and soon will be trying online booking. Secondly I have to do a price increase I have held off as long as possible but inflation will put me out of business if I don't. Most current active (serviced in shop within last 10 weeks) clients will see a $5 increase. New clients will start with new pricing structure! Lastly the NO-SHOWS have gotten out of control and will no longer be dismissed(new guidelines below) I have tried my best to be understanding but it has got to the point of total disrespect to me and my business at a loss of almost 25k in lost income in past 2 years!

THERE WILL BE NO COMMUNITY/STRAY/OUTDOOR CATS ACCEPTED DURING JANUARY OR FEBRUARY PER HUMANE OHIO POLICY
Great news! We will continue to partner with Humane Ohio (a high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter clinic) in 2023 to provide a public transport for local residents’ pets (cats & dogs). Humane Ohio will be doing the transport once per month from the Norwalk Walmart parking lot. Drop off in the morning (6a.m.) and pick-up in the afternoon (5p.m.). Huron County Humane Society will be handling the scheduling and payment for your chosen services. HCHS will be paying Humane Ohio a transport fee therefore we will be charging a $10 fee in addition to the cost of your chosen services. We are requiring that services be prepaid at the time of scheduling. Sign-up is first come first served in person only. Spots are limited and will fill up quickly! Call us today to schedule. We can answer any questions you have at that time. Huron County Humane Society 419.663.7158 Open Tuesday 1 – 6 pm, Wed. thru Sat. 1 – 5 pm. Closed Sunday & Monday. Starting in March, the transport will be able to include stray/feral cats.
