Checking back in after a long time. We have a new guy with FIP who is doing better now. His name is Salmon and is on the therapy. He went from being terribly “bloated” and not eating at all, to now eating all his kibble every day and having his normal belly size!

SHE IS ME😺🐾🌈🙏

🌹🌹🌹All the little cat spirits were crossing the rainbow bridge when one of them looked back and saw some cats' souls laying on the other side of the bridge, not moving.

“Who are they?” he asked the cat next to him.

“Oh, don’t you know they are the souls who had no owner in life and knew no love like we did."

“So what are they laying there for?” he asked “Why don’t they cross over like us?”

“They can’t.” replied his new friend “Only pets with owners can cross."

Just then all the souls on the other side of the bridge sat up and looked down the road.

"What’s happening?" asked the little cat. “Watch!” replied his friend.

Whereupon a woman was seen walking towards the bridge. She looked to her left and then to her right then opened her arms wide and all the patiently waiting souls got up and went to her.

She knelt and touched each and every spirit in turn.

They then all proceeded to cross the bridge together.

“Who is that?” he asked his friend.

“That is someone special.” replied his friend “She is a rescuer." 🐈🐈‍⬛🐈

Today was better. 💕For some odd reason, she has decided that she doesn’t have to use the litter box…. 😒

I sapose that fip, like any disease, has to have its ups and downs. Today Xena was a bit more lethargic and not wantingto eat as well on her own. Her ears had a yellowish tinge to them too, indicating the liver may be getting involved. Thankfully she is still walking properly so it isn’t neurotic. 💕

Removed some more fluid 9-3-22. Hopefully it’ll help her feel more comfortable. 💕😻

Cause for Celebration!!! Xena ate of her own free will!!! Just some dry kitty food, but it the first time since shes been sick!

FIP Warriors helped us get the treatment medication for our Xena!!!!!! She will be starting it on 9-1-22

On Aug 31 Dr Reid Michaelis came by Ark Cat Sanctuary and volunteered with us. 💕 He removed 60ccs of fluid from Xena’s abdomen. Thats 2 oz of fluid! He gave us some leads on treatment for this amazing girl!
