AND MALES IT IS!!!! I took the 6 kittens from 3 litters to the veterinarian yesterday for their first (6week check) and 5 of 6 are MALE.
ALL received first shot, wormer, exam and microchip.
I plan to photograph this weekend and post them for sale here. If you’re looking for a MALE…. I have one red, two brown with white and two brown one mackerel and one classic. The only polydactyl I have is female. 😊!!

8 more kittens go to the Veterinarian on January 29th.

New addition to my Cattery -a house just for my Siamese! They moved in yesterday and they are checking out every new sound from trains to birds!

To that end, I have three that need their people. Some of you have met the “cousins”. Both are over a year old and both are spayed/neutered. They are bonded and must stay together.
The male is a blue and the female is a seal point. Parents are on site. $500/pair. Pictures to follow.

The third is a seal point spayed female. She hates me. I am not exaggerating. She likes men. She doesn’t like me. I have promised to gift her to a cat-guy who will love her. I just hope it’s soon as she deserves stress-free living! Me too. Pictures available per request. She is afraid of the camera.

As always, visitors are welcome by appointment so I’m home!

Who are we and what do we offer?

Buckelsbury Cattery is a USDA licensed Maine C**n Cattery in the state of Iowa. That means we are supervised by a licensed veterinarian. All of our breeding stock is from Maine (Coldstream Cattery and Thunderpaws Cattery). We are a family who has a great passion and love for Maine C**ns because of their nature and beauty. Some people don’t know what a Maine C**n is... So what is a Maine C**n? Maine C**ns are the largest domestic cat breed. They are large b***d and muscular weighing anywhere from 11 to 25 lbs. Maine C**ns adapted to New England winters so they evolved to their surroundings; they have long, shaggy multi-layered fur and large paws that help them walk on snow. They also have furry ears (some with tufts) and bushy tails, which they can wrap around their body for extra warmth. Maine C**ns don’t typically “meow;” they chirp and trill (a mixture of a meow and a purr).
