The foundation for Knight Ridge Retrievers, LLC was set in 2008 when I got my first lab, Buck. Originally, I bought Buck to have a good dog to retrieve while I was duck hunting. Then, a friend introduced me to hunt tests and I was hooked. I enjoyed hunt tests and training so much that I started training other people's dogs as well. And so Knight Ridge Retrievers was born. I honed my skills by work

ing with other trainers, participating in hunt tests, and researching anything and everything related to retrievers. Had a good weekend at Tri-State HRC this past weekend. Wild Willie passed both days of good finished tests. Susie passed Saturday and went out on the land blind Sunday. Thanks to the judges and all the workers who made it a good weekend.

Males available. Lab - German Wirehaired Pointer mix. The sire duck hunts and is doing Finished level work in HRC hunt tests. The dam guides hunts at local hunt preserve and wild bird hunts. She has a Started Hunting Retriever title as well. Message this page for more info.

It's been awhile - but we've been busy! Earned 2 HR titles this fall - one for our dog Willie and one for Laika (owned by Jim Bullock). Now working on getting ready for Finished tests in the spring! Now's the time of year for the training to pay off - duck and goose hunting!
