Makaela graduated in 2016 from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. After graduation she returned to the area to play a more interactive role in her family’s grain and livestock farm. In addition to the livestock she cares for, she has two Labrador Retrievers, R***r and Marley, a Labrador Retriever mix, Oakley, a cat, Ralphie, and a Lionhead Rabbit, Mr. Nibbles.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband, Bryson, have a young son, Harrison. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors.

Brushing at home: We will go over how to brush your pet’s teeth at home and share our recommendation on the appropriate product to use.

OraVet Chews: We carry OraVet Chews at our clinic. OraVet chews are clinically proven to reduce bad breath, plaque and tarter formation. They are the only treats with an FDA label supporting their claims.

Hill’s Prescription diets: We carry Hill’s Prescription Diet T/D, a therapeutic dry food that is clinically proven to reduce plaque, stain and tarter build up.

On July 10th we will be switching over to OTTO and our new communication platform!!
The texting line you are used too will no longer in service on that date, and the PetPage app will no longer be in service either.
Otto offers the "all in one" experience so you can communicate, make appts, and access all your pets medical records all from one place!
It'll be another big change for all of us WagsFam but we promise it's coming together and all for good reason ❤️🩵

Dr. Janelle will not be seeing appointments for the next few days. She will resume her normal schedule Tuesday, June 25th. Meanwhile our lovely ladies will continue to be in the office 7:30-5 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday And Monday and 7:30 -12 Saturday. Please call for prescription refills, pet updates, appointment scheduling & nail trims. We’d be glad to help out our clients as always and it’ll give us a break from deep cleaning and inventory 😜
