Just watched this first responder ⛑️ pull a poor kitty 🐈‍⬛ out of the fire. 🔥 I really hope it is ok! They are now giving it oxygen.

The dedication of these folks never ceases to amaze me. They always answer the call! And they aren’t even paid!

Someone anonymously sent my landlord a letter saying that I live in squalor, have 50 cats and 9 dogs , that my dog runs around outside and kills cats, that my house smells like ammonia and etc. Whoever did this didn’t have the guts to announce who they were. And none of those allegations are true. I have people here all the time and no one will tell you I live like that . I do not have 50 cats and I do not have 9 dogs. They said they were going to call the dog warden . Please do. Enlighten me.

Some people seriously have nothing better to do. Whoever it was, put Patrick and my name in the letter and said I have 3 kids. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to find that info on my fb.

A reporter from Penn Live who also writes for the Harrisburg patriot , came to interview me today about the dogs dumped in trout run. He was VERY in depth with the info and even contacted the head of the spca and the dog warden for comment to find out why nothing is being done about this case!

He’s going to write it tomorrow and I’ll let everyone know when it’s posted! Sometimes you have to pay to subscribe to read Penn lives articles so we’ll see !

This love bird ? was found on someone’s deck pecking at their hay bales. He was able to grab it, but couldn’t keep it so was going to let it go. He asked his neighbors and no one claimed it. He gave it to his neighbor who contacted me right away.

Ironically, the bird was found in trout run out rose alley road.

As soon as it seen me bring my traveling cage, it climbed right into it and ate the entire way home . It was so hungry.

I don’t know a ton about sexing birds , but I do know basic bird care and a lot of bird species. I know they are very intelligent and get bored easily so they need a lot of enrichment . I know they also prefer to be paired .

I’m not sure how anyone lost this bird . No one yet has claimed him or her.

So this is what being treated right feels like eh?

We will never understand what we did wrong to get dumped along a road to be killed . We are just puppies looking for love and attention.

Our personalities are already starting to blossom.
