I wanted to share with you all a service I will not be offering when we open and that is โ€œshave-downsโ€ on double- coated dogs or breeds in particular that arenโ€™t meant to be shaved.

Some dog breed examples I will not shave are: German Shepards, Chows, Australian Shepards, Collies, Great Pyrenees, Newfoundlands, Huskies, Goldren Retrievers, Pomeranians, Labrador Retrievers, Akitas, Rottweilers, Corgis, Chiwawas, etcโ€ฆ

I will happily trim up hairy feet, sanitary trims (potty areas), trim feathering, and โ€œtidy upโ€ any extra hair to make your dog look beautiful! ๏ฟผ

โ€œShave- downsโ€ are pretty popular in the spring and summer time! I have offered this service in the past, but seen more damage to coats and dogs skins than any benefits, so I have decided not to offer this service.

Coming from a holistic approach and looking at your dogs coat and skinโ€” I always want to offer whatโ€™s best for your dogs and want to offer services that will benefit your dogs fur/coat, not cause damage. A de-shed treatment can really help with all the extra hair and really benefit your dog! Iโ€™ll share more details about those soon, so make sure to check back!!๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
