We still haven't found anyone....

URGENT! Foster needed for 4 kittens, 2 of which previously tested positive for ringworm and have went through treatment. We're currently waiting on the results of their fungal culture, which will take a few weeks. The remaining 2, who didn't have ringworm, have received pcr tests. One has already come back negative, we're still waiting on the orher.

Full disclosure, ringworm is contagious to humans and other pets. The ideal foster area would be a spare bathroom that doesn't receive much traffic.

PLEASE! We are desperate! All of our current fosters are full and we absolutely cannot risk bringing ringworm into the shelter.

FOSTER FOUND!

We are once again in need of a long-term foster for a cat who needs more than the shelter can provide.

Six-year old, front declawed, neutered male. Currently at veterinary hospital: Diagnosed with heart failure, discovered after he threw a blood clot. Oxygen-dependent at the moment. Started on heart meds and anti-coagulant. When he gets released, he will need meds and monitored, he has the potential to throw another blood clot. (Just keeping it real.) The perfect foster would be someone who works from home or is retired or doesn't work. LAPS pays for all vetting. You provide the care and love. Meet a few of our bonded cats of various ages:

Brothers Sam & Dean are the youngest. They are ready to graduate from their foster home to their forever home.

Mother & son duo Darla & Plum are often found lounging together.

Front declawed Sisters Venus & Mars are the most mature of the lineup. They came to LAPS after the passing if their owner. Venus needs the confidence and companionship of Mars.

Satan & Lucifer are also ready to graduate from foster to forever and skip the shelter.

Do you remember Jason?? He came to us with TWO broken legs. We decided to cast the right leg, which was the more severe, and see how that healed before attempting FHO surgery on the left leg.

Jason had an appointment today, Halloween, and certainly couldn't go naked! Look at this handsome guy!

We're happy to report Jason's right leg is healing nicely. We still haven't received enough donations to offset the cost of his care and would certainly appreciate any amount you could send.

LOST! PLEASE SHARE.

UPDATE 10/31/24: The black cat has been found and is safe! The tabby cat is still missing.

Lost between 6th and Isabella Street in Williamsport PA. If you live near here or know someone who does, PLEASE look in sheds, under porches, or in any space a cat could squeeze into and hide. They are most likely terrified and haven't gone far.

The family is in Williamsport at a friend's while a family member was in the hospital here and the cats got out. The cats are indoor and not from here.

The black cat is about 3 years old. Fixed male cat with a white spot on his chest. He answers to Moonie or Mister Moon.

The tabby cat is a male that is NOT fixed and he is almost 1year old. He answers to Bucket or Buck Eye.
