At the Williamsport store we provide an excellent set of programs to build a strong bond between you and your pet. Why dog training? Because, in our classes we focus on a lot of common issues that you may run into when training your dog or puppy. Petsmart offers a reward-based system that is proven to work b

y experience! People often get the basics down but when it comes to more tricky commands you may need some help! We offer many different levels of classes starting with puppy/beginner, intermediate and advanced. We even have a trick class for anyone looking for a fun challenge! We offer an experience that gets your dog/puppy exposed to other animals, people and lots of distractions. For those of you with dogs that need one on one attention we offer half hour, hour and 4 hour sessions as well. All of our regular classes are 6 week courses offered on Tuesday nights and Saturdays. They are held at the same time each week and are an hour long. All 6 week courses are only $119! Puppy/Beginner class:
This class is the same for puppies or older dogs without much obedience knowledge. Only the ages differ. 10 weeks-5 months is puppy, 5 months and older is beginner. We go over:
Sit, stay come
Drop it, Leave it, Take it
Walking nicely on the leash
Socialization
Potty training, crate training, barking, etc. Intermediate:
Wait
Adding Distance to previous commands
Off/Down
Touch
Heel

Advanced:
On your bed
Adding Distractions to previous commands
Supervised Separation
Training needed to pass Canine Good Citizen Test
