Today's event was cut a bit short by the storn that blew through but, we still had a nice turn out with lots of donations! Thank you to everyone who came out! We did manage to pull all the raffle tickets and I have the prizes written out on the tickets with folks ready to call. Just regrouping a bit so we can arrange pick up. It was a bit of a scramble to get everything secured. Thank you so much to everyone who helped get everything out of the rain!!

Meet Boyfriend. Boyfriend is not a Zoo cat. We are posting him as a courtesy to one of our adopters. He was left behind when one of her renters moved out. He is a sweetheart and fairly young. He is affectionate and likes to be by your feet so an active household who understands the need to watch your step is best. He is certainly a looker! If you think you could be the home for him, pm us! We will put you in touch with his caretaker. He is currently living in the Lykens area. He will need to be brought up to date on his shots and neutered but we can share low cost clinics with you to get that done.

2 days. 2 feral moms. 10 babies. All under 2 weeks of age. Thank goodness the mommas were easy to trap so they could be taken in. We will definitely be needing supplies.

Sponsors for mommas and eventually kids to get fixed are appreciated. Mommas are feral and will be released to their areas. ($40 needed, 1 momma is sponsored by property owner) Kittens we hope to get done for $45 but may need to use another avenue around $70 each depending on scheduling.

We were contacted this week by PSP to take on cats from a very sad situation. Their owner is deceased and they were essentially his life. They were all well cared for. We are looking to get them into calm, patient homes as quickly as possible.

They appeared to have been eating Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tract Health formula dry food. Any donations of that food can be shipped to 322 W Market Street Williamstown PA 17098 and it will be split among their fosters.

They are all fixed and 4 are up to date on vaccines. A huge thank you to the Lykens PSP for their trust and help and to Cove Mountain Animal Hospital for all of their super fast help with identifying the cats with their names and health histories. Truly your help was amazing!!!

Just a reminder. We are NOT A CLINIC. We do not perform spay/ neuter surgeries. We have currently 1 wonderful volunteer who tracks our appointments and does VOLUNTEER transport to a clinic currently in Reading. The schedule is for feral/ community cats with a required ear tip, or cats within our rescue. The schedule is also currently booked into August as we are only given 3 spots per week.

We strongly suggest you visit the www.nnnlv.org website to schedule pet cats at the Reading clinic. In our area Hillside SPCA has started a spay/ neuter clinic and we also have Greys and Strays in Jonestown. Dauphin County residents can also contact the Humane Society of Harrisburg to check on openings in their Veterinary resources clinics.

Izzy is a strong independent cat who don’t need no human...until she wants snuggles, and snacks, and attention, and to play. She prefers not to be with other cats, but she will tolerate one or two others. She’s a demanding sweetheart, and when she wants attention she’ll make it known by leaping onto your shoulders. She’s not a small cat, so she has some trouble staying there, but she doesn’t care. She loves to be the center of attention whenever she gets the chance

This boy’s paperwork says his name is Kook, but he tends to be called Mr. Jeff Kook. He’s blind in one eye and does better on sensitive stomach snacks. He gets some discharge from his bad eye, but he’s pretty good at cleaning it himself. Not sure how old he is, but he’s very sweet. He loves to cuddle and be affectionate, he rolls around and begs for belly rubs, and will give kisses if you give him attention

Miss Christina is patiently awaiting her forever home. She’s a typical tabby; She may not stand out much, but she’s super sweet and friendly. She’ll sit with you and cuddle, and if you’ve got other cats for her to be friends with she’ll play and cuddle with them too

This is MewMew, she’s wary of new people and places, but once she warms up she’ll be taking over. She’s loud and demanding and knows exactly what she wants, and what she wants is attention. If she thinks you’re not paying enough attention to her, she’ll yell until you do. or she’ll ram her head and body against your arms/legs/ wherever she can reach until you stop what you’re doing and pet her. Aggressively affectionate is the best way to describe her

Jeff hopes everyone has had a good year! He’s been with us around 3 years now, and he’s been overlooked for being shy with strangers. But once he gets to know you, he’ll come out of his shell. He likes attention, but he prefers to initiate it. If he headbutts or rubs up against you first, you’ve been given permission to pet him. And despite being kind of shy, he’s as crazy as any other cat when he wants to play. He would prefer a home with older or no kids

These sweet girls are Erin and Erica, sisters who would love to get a home together. they’re both very sweet and love affection, though Erica can get a little more demanding about it. Erin is the more laid back of the two, though at around 2 years old they’re both still very playful

Mai would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! She’ll be helping remind me to post pictures of her fellow fosters once a day for the next week or so.
Miss Mai (pronounced ’My’) is very affectionate and outgoing. She loves to play, and is very insistent when she wants attention. She’s a year and a half- 2 years old now, but she still acts like a kitten when she’s feeling playful. Her and her fellow fosters all have the new year’s resolution of finding their forever home, and we would love it if they could.

Hi, everyone! Just a quick update. Without a brick and mortar facility where folks can come and play with the cats, donations and adoptions are down. We have about 35 cats in our care who still need vetting and careevery day. We have one who is going through continued medical check ups for a hernia situation which finally looks like he is ok to get fixed, and another who needs to be seen due to dropping weight and others who are almost due for updated shots, etc. Every penny helps!!! Please consider donating this holiday season. Thank you!!!
