We are thrilled to announce that our very own Dr. Claudia Gray has earned her certification to conduct PennHIP X-rays, making Alliance Animal Hospital the newest practice in the area offering this advanced, highly accurate method for assessing canine hip health! 🐾 Congratulations, Dr. Gray!

In addition to OFA, PennHIP is a science-based method to screen for Canine Hip Dysplasia (CHD), one of the most common inherited orthopedic conditions in dogs. By measuring hip laxity, PennHIP can detect dogs at risk for CHD as early as 16 weeks old, allowing us to help owners make informed decisions about breeding, preventive care, and lifestyle adjustments to improve their dog's quality of life.
