We are a no-kill shelter who wholeheartedly believes there is a purr-fect home for every animal & it is our goal to find wonderful, loving homes for each & every one. While in our care, each animal receives proper medical at

tention, socialization, behavior assessment, basic care along with lots of love & attention until a suitable home is found. Our organization is 100% volunteer-driven and our efforts are sustained solely on private donations, fundraising & grants. All monies donated or raised through events or other efforts go directly to the care of our animals. Our mission statement:
To give comfort, heal the sick & injured and raise the orphaned. We do not accept personal pets. We focus on the stray & abandoned population most in need in the Western New York Area. All animals are spayed or neutered, tested for diseases & given age appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Adoption also includes a free "first" vet visit to a host of participating local vets.

Tis the Season for Baps and Slaps by Trixie “Go outside” they said. “A jolly fat man will be visiting” they said. I see no fat man. I see no reindeer. I certainly see no presents for me. I’ve been bamboozled and hoodwinked. My paws are cold. And the snow didn’t even taste that good. The volunteers should be thankful that Santa Claws didn’t appear because I have a few names to add to his naughty list. Their stockings are going to be full alright, full of BAPS AND SLAPS! I don’t know if there are enough Tim Bits and treats in the world to soothe my Christmas rage, but I’m willing to try. So Annie and Carole, I am expecting a holiday smorgasbord…
