morning soldiers happy Saturday we got a little snow yesterday but it didnt stick around were all up and taking care of business outside its 35 degrees here and cloudy. Dad had to help lil chico to the door this morning. he walks like he is very drunk and he has chemical breath were doing everything to get him comfortable but he is really fighting us. mom said this morning his breath was stronger than usual these are all signs of kidney failure he has had sub Q fluids and there not working the vet said he cold live anywhere from 100 days when he first got it stage 3 or up to a year at stage 1 but were thinking were in stage 3 plus so just keep praying for my brudder we dont want to be a sad page and dwell on this but we do want you informed for those who love him. we hope you all has a great Saturday and we will keep you all updated lubs you dis be ssgt cloey kerns ober and out pals dissmissedddddddddd1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

morning soldiers happy Friday we wanted to shout at you this morning for a few and tell you all thank you for your thought and prayers and input on my brudder chico!!!!!! he did eat a McDonald cheeseburger yesterday but refused treats again this morning. were not sure how much time we have with him but dad said probably not too much time left were hoping he lets us know when enough is enough!!!!!!!! dad hopes that he will go peacefuly here at home but he did make it very clear there will be no suffering in this house period!!!!!!!!!! chico is 13 yrs and 3 months old he is part pug and part chihuahua dad said he is called Loverboy for a reason he loves every human being in the world he has never met a person he didn't want to love on. he was ok with other animals never in a fight ever he just growled and made it clear to back off tehehehehehehe f course he and i are the 2 oldest in the house with him being the oldest. just wanted to say hello and let you all know when the time is here we will share him with you all he loves his girlfwend chloe for sure and he will wait for her for now he will go see grandpa and Zelda and luna when its time love you all this has been so hard after losing dippy also it s hard on mine and thors family and we love you all and thank you for being apart of our lifes ssgt cloey kerns ober and out pals dissmissedddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey pals mom and dad just brought Chico home and we had some bad news him is in severe kidney failure and there’s not much we can do except make him comfortable and they put him on an iv and let us come home wiff him we thank you all for the prayers he is a very sick big brudder!!!! I’m so sad I know what happens from here dad and mom have boff agreed no suffering he doesn’t deserve this I’m so heartbroken please pray for our family we’re gonna do everything we can to keep him comfortable loves you all ssgt cloey kerns

Our beloved Dippy is gone. He went peacefully in his bed around 4:00 pm. RIP sweet boy. We miss you already ❤️

Morning soldiers @ 5 pm yesterday my dad did it, him is officially retired wahoooooo!!!!!! Can you believe it? It’s true him did t get up till 645 dis morning I’m so proud let’s see if him can remain retired more than 3. Morning soldiers 1 more week till Santa paws comes and I got the best present ever my dad is officially retiring him gibs him 2 week notice last Friday and then him put in for all of his pto time and that makes his last day officially Wednesday!!!!!!!!! It is Christmas day today,
And all are full of cheer,
But I lay freezing on the step,
I always sleep right here.

I never get to go inside,
And join in all the fun,
I'm what they call a yard dog,
When all is said and done.

They have given me some scraps,
I think it was last week,
Now laying in the snow today,
I am feeling tired and weak.

I can hear the children playing,
As my head lay on my paws,
This time just last year,
I was a gift from Santa Claus.

I don't know what I did wrong,
To be shut out in the yard,
I only lived inside 6 months,
Since then my life's been hard.

The snow is falling heavy now,
I'm just a block of ice,
And when I breathe the cold cold air,
My lungs feel like a vice.

A miracle then came to pass,
An Angel did appear,
She glowed,and I could feel the heat,
As she floated near.

She reached her hand and beckoned,
It was such a sight to see,
She smiled and said "Good Dog,
It is time to come with me.

I will take you to the bridge,
Where all the Good Dogs go
You can play there in the sunshine,
There will be no freezing snow."

My bag of bones stood up then,
I shook the snow from off my fur,
And,as I slowly followed,
This is what I said to her.

"I am not a Good Dog though,
In that I think you're wrong,
No one would shut a Good Dog,
In the garden for so long."

The Angel turned and smiled,
As I walked with head hung low,
Then she said"I'm sorry,
I thought that you would know.

You really are a Good Dog,
The reason why your time is up,
It is just unfortunate,
You were born a Christmas pup."

I now live at the Rainbow Bridge,
And I am filled with joy,
But remember this at Christmas time,
A dog is NOT a toy.
