Stay command vs Implied Stay
Which is better to use?
We personally promote an implied stay along with a release command, in order to cut down the use of extra commands or the repetition of the word “stay” being used. The more we repeat a command, the more latency we typically create in the dog which can lead to the word being devalued. Its SUPER important that our dogs feel obligated to complete behaviors the first time we tell them!

Nala is getting SO big so it’s important she learns to walk loosely on the leash with her people🦁 Shaped with positive reinforcement and set in stone with negative reinforcement. The check ins are super important so we have plenty of opportunities to reward when shes in the right position
Otto the Cavapoo had his very first lesson today and he was an absolute rockstar!
His parents are very dedicated to him and it definitely shows. I can’t wait to see how he continues to progress over the next few months.
