Please help us help our terrific partner, The Cats Meow. They have helped WBoro cat folks for years. Now it’s our turn. Please donate generously in our name.

We are closing cat intake until we can pay off some bills. Unfortunately 5 kittens were rushed to the ER vet two nights ago. They continued to deteriorate and after a poor prognosis they needed to be euthanized to end their suffering. Although we know it was the right decision to get them immediate care, it still cost us over $1k 😕 We were already low on funds but we couldn't let the kittens suffer.

We thank their foster family for taking them in. The kittens would have died alone and slowly without them opening their home to them.

Harley’s Story
Harley was just a pup when he and his sibling were found on the side of the road. Fortunately, a caring family brought them to NJ to share with cousins. He is a Retriever-Terrier mix, a joyful pup who is well trained and in good health. Harley has been with his first family since a few months old and is now 2 yrs old. He loves free time in the backyard with kids and dogs. Harley is friendly, yet calm enough to be gentle with a baby turned toddler. He knows to not jump on furniture, doesn’t bark much, and he is house- and crate- trained. Unfortunately, the demands of a family health issue leave Harley without the attention, walks, and family play that he loves so much. His family had made the difficult decision to find a home with energy and interest to return him to his active life. Harley is neutered, up to date with vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. He is medium in size, about 30 lbs. with silky fur. if you are interested, please complete an application at ….

UPDATE to answer questions.
Having been approved for fostering, a foster home will have a priority for applying to adopt and of the kittens. The process is through Burlington County Animal Shelter. As a community group, Boro Pet Project will support the foster home.

Gigi, mama cat, is semi-feral. No way to know whether she will decide she wants to be a house cat. When the cats are weaned, we will decide whether to separate her and try to socialize or to spay/vaccinate and return her to her community.

UPDATE: Mama and kittens have been safely rescued. Kittens are young enough to be socialized as house cats. Mama is not happy being inside. She will be spayed, vaccinated, and returned to her neighborhood where residents know her and care for her.

Please join Boro Pet Project in addressing Willingboro's community cat population. We’re trapping, fixing and vaccinating, so healthy adults stop having kittens. When kittens are found, foster families help socialize, fix and vax them before matching to forever homes. We've made progress. But in this case, mama cat had other plans. She moved her kittens before we could trap her! She is small, mostly white with black patches, likely behind homes on Rittenhouse Drive between Radford and Ridgecrest. If you see her, or her kittens, please text or call (508) 864-5792 with time and location.

Please help us continue our mission to manage the feline population and match furballs with forever families. We need foster families for kittens and rescued pups, trappers, outreach and other help. Comment or DM for more info.

UPDATE: Foster Family Found! Rittenhouse babies urgently need help. Their mama is close by. The kittens need to be saved from the heat. Mama needs to be trapped so they can stay together in a crate until they are old enough to be fixed and adopted. Please DM or call 508-864-6792 if you might be willing to help out for a few weeks.

(I didn't see an author for this either place I saw it. If anyone knows who the author is can you please let me know in the comments. Thanks.)

A newly discovered chapter in the Book of Genesis has provided the answer to 'Where do pets come from?' Adam said, 'Lord, when I was in the garden, you walked with me every day. Now I do not see you any more. I am lonesome here and it is difficult for me to remember how much you love me.'And God said 'No problem. I will create a companion for you that will be with you forever and who will be a reflection of my love for you so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of yourself.' And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam. And it was a good animal. And God was pleased. And the new animal was pleased to be with Adam and it wagged its tail. And Adam said, 'Lord, I have already named all the animals in the Kingdom and I cannot think of a name for this new animal.' And God said, 'No problem. Because I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you his name will be a reflection of my own name, and you will call him Dog.' And Dog lived with Adam and was a companion to him and loved him. And Adam was comforted. And God was pleased. And Dog was content and wagged his tail. After a while, it came to pass that Adam's guardian angel came to the Lord and said, 'Lord, Adam has become filled with pride. He struts and preens like a peacock and he believes he is worthy of adoration. Dog has indeed taught him that he is loved, but perhaps too well.' And the Lord said, 'No problem. I will create for him a companion who will be with him forever and who will see him as he is. The companion will remind him of his limitations, so he will know that he is not always worthy of adoration.' And God created Cat to be a companion to Adam. And Cat would not obey Adam. And when Adam gazed into Cat's eyes, he was reminded that he was not the Supreme Being. And Adam learned humility. And God was pleased. And Adam was greatly improved. And Dog was happy. And Cat didn't care one way or the other.

Tractor Supply, your decision to narrow your customer base to a politically conservative sect is disappointing. Your use of 'rural' as a code word to exclude diverse customers, including 'bachelor farmers', is misguided. Your implication that right-leaning customers prioritize veteran and animal welfare issues over others is also misplaced. Additionally, your separation of land, water, and air betrays a lack of understanding of their interconnectedness. This approach does not bode well for the future of our country.
