Hey guys,

I will not be taking any birds in this year aside from swans. Swans are priced at $1600.

If you weren’t already aware, my breast cancer came back as stage four in the spring. I do chemo monthly and it wipes me out for a week or two where i’m unable to get much done. I’m doing pretty well and last scan showed the cancer in my bones shrinking, but the cancer itself is only half the battle and the chemo is the rest. Overall I feel pretty good though and I’m still mounting everyone’s birds beautifully, if not a little slowly.

My wait times are increasing due to this. If you have a bird with me and i told you a year, it might be a year and a half. Later clients might be two years. If you don’t want to wait, I am happy to refund your deposit and return your bird to you. If you are fine with waiting, please be patient and don’t bug me too much, I know you are excited but it gives me anxiety! I’m doing the best I can and I don’t rush through mounts.

It’s so hard for me to tell anyone no, but I have to put my family and health first, and take good care of the clients I already have.

Last of the photos for tonight! I custom casted/sculpted the head for this shoveler…. such a nightmare as they require a lot of fine detail and resourcefulness for making a workable mold….
off to mayo clinic for some expert cancer treatment, and then back to hammer out some geese. ❤️
