Hello, friends. So if you loved those pancakes at our open house… here’s an opportunity to have some again and to see our good friends apple trees in full bloom. It’s always a fun time at Stine Orchard. Today and tomorrow. 9am-11 for pancakes and 11-2 for their delicious pizza . Music and cocktail’s .

And that’s a wrap. The 2024 season is done. We officially called it today. Our last boil was Tuesday the 2nd. The sun is shining, the snow on the ground is what we call sugar snow and yet the trees are telling us it’s done. Thank you all who helped us , supported us and visited us this season. We are so grateful. Happy Eclipse tomorrow.

We are participating in the “part two” Saturday 9-4. Maple house tours, maple samples. Pancake breakfast 9-1 by our friends Stine Orchard and bar serving up maple inspired cocktails 11-4 by BEVO, sugar on snow, maple cotton candy, maple hotdogs, music, and of course lots of maple products to purchase.

Did you take a rain check (er, snow check?) for last Saturday's Maple Open House? Over two dozen sugar makers are offering you a second chance, Saturday 3/30!

We've updated the Maple Map to highlight sugar makers taking part in our Saturday second chance Open House option. Forecasts point to a bluebird day for exploring Vermont and all the great ways to enjoy pure maple, so grab some friends and plan your route!

What a wonderful day. Thank you all who came out to celebrate the sugaring season with us. We hope you had as much fun as we did. So busy that I didn’t get to take many photos. Looking forward to this Saturday the 30th to doing it again. Pancakes and cocktails and so much more.

Tomorrow we have Theo Manazir playing for us from 10-4. He’s going to be entertaining us with folk/blues type music. So excited. Also we will have some of the best pancakes you have ever had. Butter-Buttermilk pancakes and bacon and Kabasa by our amazing friends from Stine Orchard/ Bevo making up their yummy drinks. 9am-1 pm for pancakes . Also sugar on snow,, maple snow cones, hotdogs cooked in maple sap. 9am-4pm. Can’t make it tomorrow. No worries we will be doing it all again next Saturday the 30th from 9-4

So we had our first open house during a snow storm. We did have a few people venture out and we had a great day. Looking forward to tomorrow.

What do we find at the intersection of Maple Open House and Mother Nature? Flexibility and optimism and some extra pre-planning, that's what! Many of our locations will continue to welcome guests this weekend and have updated their hours and events based on the forecast for tonight and Saturday. March Madness...not just for basketball ; )

Plan for JOY this Maple Open House Weekend:
1) Check the weather forecast for your specific area;
2) Check New England 511 for any road closures;
3) Review the Maple Map for updates to events;
4) Be safe, stay warm, have FUN!

We have offered participating sugar makers another opportunity next Saturday, 3/30 as a snow make up day. We'll share those activities on updated Maple Open House Map starting early next week, so stay tuned!

It’s open house weekend. We know tomorrow doesn’t look good. Many people that come to help us make it so successful will not be able to make it due to the storm. We will be around although Mark will most likely be out plowing snow. Which means depending how hard it’s coming down our road could not be plowed. The good news is Sunday looks good and we are making up tomorrow with another open house next Saturday the 30th. Stay turned for update. We want everyone to be safe tomorrow. If it’s not snowing to hard in the morning. Stein Orchard/Bevo is going to still come out and make up some pancakes. We will just have to wait and see. So bummed about the weather.

We're so close to celebrating our 2024 spring MOHW, and we can't WAIT to see those photos of you all visiting sugarhouses all over Vermont on Saturday and Sunday!

From here on out, we'll be doing our best to continue to highlight as many sugarhouses and maple partners as possible, but y'all... the absolute INSANE turn out we had this year has been AMAZING! We had OVER 100 locations participate this year and land on our Maple Map! WOW!

We are so proud to be in partnership and support of all of our amazing sugar makers and sugar partners for MOHW and beyond - we quite literally would not be here without you all. Have a fun, safe, maple-filled weekend.

May the sap run fast, the boilers burn hot, and the liquid gold flow freely for everyone! See you in the woods! 🍁❤

Hello friends.. so we are planning for our maple open house weekend. March 23 & 24th. New and exciting this year is our good friends at BEVO catering and bar will be putting on a pancake breakfast for us both Saturday and Sunday from 9-1 ish. Yummy pancakes, sausage and bacon and of course our yummy maple syrup. They will be also having their bar set up and serving yummy maple adult drinks and their kids will be making fresh squeezed maple lemonade. We are going to creat an event also. So hope to see you there.
