Western Veterinary Clinic is a full service clinic with both large and small animal services.

Veterinarians:
Dr. Jody Smith: Specializes in large animal medicine and surgery but does small animal work as well. Dr. Lee Garbel: Specializes in small animal medicine and surgery (especially orthopedics) but also does some large animal work. Dr. Heidi Folden: Specializes in small animal surgery, medicine, and exotics. Dr. Melanie Philippi: Specializes in small animal care but does some large ani

mal as well. Dr. Shayla Sorenson: Specializes in large animal medicine and surgery as well as small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Abbigael Gutierrez: Specializes in small animal care but does some large animal as well. Dr. Shelby Hanson: Specializes in both small and animal medicine and surgery.

Our office will be closed on December 24th and December 25th so our staff can spend time with their families. We will resume normal business hours on Thursday December 26th.

As always, we will have a doctor on call for emergencies.

Okay friends. We are looking for an owner again. This sweet girl was found by Nova on the west side of town. Not microchipped. Is in need of medical attention. If you believe this might be your missing baby please message us. Sending in your pictures would be helpful as well. Thank you 💕

Owner has been found and she is back home ❤️

This sweet girl was found and brought in by a client for routine veterinary care. Very friendly, not microchipped, but does has a spay scar. We believe she has an owner that might be looking for her and we would love get her reunited with them 💕

Thank you to everyone who has called or stopped in to check and see if they recognize this girl. Unfortunately we are still looking for her people.

IF you are driving to work, you may see a gentleman helping an injured dog off the road.
IF you stop to check things out, you may learn that the pup was hit by car.
IF you see that her legs appear injured, you may decide that she needs to ride to work with you. (She may even give you puppy kisses as you get her settled in).
IF you arrive at work with unknown pup, you may cross your fingers as you scan her for a microchip.
IF you get a ding as the microchip number pops up, you may say a little prayer as you check to see if the microchip is registered and you try to reach the owner.
IF you call the owner, you may find that they were searching for their girl that got out after a gate was accidently left open.
IF you are lucky enough to see the reunion of pet and owners, you may just shed a tear of joy.
IF your pet is microchipped, you may check to make sure it is registered and contact information is up to date.
IF your pet is Not microchipped, you may call your Veterinary Clinic to schedule an appointment.
