We are a small breeder of quality Jack Russell Terriers and American Hunt Terriers located in the Gr What we are! We are above all, lovers of the breed.

We produce very limited numbers of puppies per year. Our girls are not bred every season. They get lots of time off to enjoy family life. The dogs you see on this site really and truly are all we have. There are no dogs hidden in the back. We will proudly post any new members of our family. We do not toss our retired dogs out. They are retired and they remain here with us as the family members the

y have always been. On occasion if we think it is for the best of the dog we may consider letting one go to the right family. The situation has to be perfect. When I need to replace a dog I actively seek out better bloodlines to improve upon what I have now. We all want to improve the breed. At present, we are proud members of the EJRTCA , NKC, UKC and AKC/FSS, AHTCA. What we are NOT! We are not a puppy mill! Our puppies are precious and few. We will not sell to pet stores or anyone who breeds to supply pet stores. We prefer our much loved angels go to homes where they will be loved forever and be family membersand best friends, not just "the dog". So, if you are a broker, pet store owner or puppy mill owner do not contact me. I require references and do check them. We do not promote our dogs or any puppies as being show dogs. The potential may be there but I don't show so I can not say if there is a potential show dog or puppy in a litter. Maybe someday the show bug will bite me but right now I just have fun playing and raising my pups.

Sorry for the lack of posts. 2024 is nearing an end and truthfully I'm glad to see it's end. Hopeful for 2025 to be better. BB Farm had some sad loses, something we have rarely seen. Unexplained, unexpected and heart breaking. 2 orphans to hand rear proves the strength and dedication we have for our pups. Little Manny got the best home a pup could wish for. Reesye's future is still to be determined. But there is plenty of time to figure it all out. Until then there is an entire village helping raise him and love him every second of the day and night.

I lost someone very precious and dear to me yesterday. Bonnie aka Taz. She had a litter of 4 puppies on Thursday. The only female was born dead. Prior to their birth she had not been feeling well but there was no real reason for it. 2 days before they came she returned to her old crazy self, apatite and craziness was back. She loved her babies. Saturday morning at 3 she was acting odd but ate ravenously. By 7 she was seizing, I actually thought she was having a stroke. My regular vet could not take her and referred us to either Peak or BEVS. Peak turned us away so we ended out at BEVS. Taz's seizures could not be controlled and they tried everything possible. Her bloodwork all came back in the normal range so it is all so unexplained. It was decided to let her go as the seizures were getting more frequent and stronger. 1 of the male puppies was always weak and passed at BEVS. The remaining 2 were bottle fed at BEVS and kept warm. By the time I got home 1 of the remaining boys also passed. I am now bottle feeding a tiny little pup..3 oz. He's strong and stubborn like his mother was. Send up a little prayer for this wee one, we sure can use some prayers.
