Hey there, if you're in the market for a new best friend, you've come to the right profile! I'm Buddy, a young, 52-pound male with lots of love to give. I'm an affectionate, funny, friendly, and playful pooch, and I love making new friends - both human and canine. I'm also a good listener and love to give you those sad, puppy-dog eyes when I want something. I'm healthy, up to date on all my shots, and ready to find my forever home. I'd love to have a doggy friend in the household, but I'm not too picky. A nice backyard to run around in, lots of chewy toys, and a cozy bed are some of my favorite things. If you think you can give me all that, and more, we might be the perfect match.

IN VERMONT- INTRODUCING DALI

IN VERMONT- DALI

Dali has been lucky and has been crashing with one of our college volunteers. She has been on all kinds of adventures from great walks, meeting kitty cats, and even to the drive in movie theater. As we make our way towards winter she makes an excellent snuggle buddy and bed warmer.

Dali is 6 years old, she is good on a leash, she is good with people of all ages, other dogs, and seems okay with cats. She is housebroken and not destructive. She does great in the car, loves toys, and most of all snuggles. Dali's foster is headed home for Thanksgiving, we would love to see her have a home of her own by that time so she doesn't have to come back to the stressful kennel.

This girl will be a wonderful addition to almost any home, could yours be the lucky one?

IN VERMONT- INTRODUCING PENNY

This big baby is Penny. She is 3 years old and has been described as just a chill girl. Penny weighs 52 pounds. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up she is sweet and affectionate. She is good with other dogs as well. We don't know how she feels about cats. She loves to play fetch and is treat motivated. Penny is good on a leash and has a very calm demeaner making her a great choice for almost any household.

IN VERMONT- INTRODUCING PENELOPE

Penelope 2 years old 63 pounds

Penelope was found abandoned tied up to a tree and was rescued by a caring couple.
Since her rescue, she has thrived with a wonderful foster family.
Penelope is a good girl with a big love for affection!
She has done well with dogs she’s met and stayed with but also wouldn't mind being the center of attention. She’s young, energetic and playful. She is housetrained and although initially hesitant, will gladly go in her crate for tasty treats. She enjoys daily walks, car rides, hikes, and playing in the backyard. She has been good with older kids she’s met but unsure how she is with cats. Penelope walks nicely on a leash but does get excited when other dogs walk by. She is mostly quiet with the occasional bark to let you know someone is at the door. She loves treats and her meals and especially loves a piece of sardine added to her food which keeps her coat lustrous and healthy.
Penelope is a lovely and loving girl who would do great with an active family.

Super Senior Sam is on the hunt for his forever home. He is 12 years young and 17 pounds. Sam is sweet, calm, quiet and confident. He loves interacting with all people, especially men. He isn't timid about the winter weather, he jumped right into the snow and powered through it. He is potty trained, nondestructive, awesome on leash, and has NO separation anxiety. Sam is good with other animals and loves to show affection by giving kisses. He is ready to be a treasured family member for his golden years.

IN VERMONT- SUPER SENIOR LILLAIN LOOKING FOR A SOFT PLACE TO CALL HOME.

Lillian is coming to us from a private home, she is 12 years old and 35 pounds. Sadly Lillian's human mom passed away from cancer and she was left behind with her 18 year old human sister. Her human sister was struggling with the loss of her mom and being on her own, she didn't think she could give Lillian the life she deserved so she has trusted us to find her forever family. She is good with people of all ages and other dogs. We don't know how she feels about cats. She is also housebroken and rides well in the car and is good on leash. She has a little arthritis but we have her on a joint supplement and she is doing well.
