What a great end to the show season. Meghan and Lyndsay both competed at War Horse in the Championship division and did so well! Both finished on their dressage scores and
Lyndsay placed 12th out of 30 riders and Meghan placed 9th out of 29 riders.

They were both part of a team competition and were accumulating scores throughout the year for their team which placed 2nd!

So proud of them and their riding in very competitive divisions!

Danielle and her horse Cash were supposed to compete in starter but Danielle made the decision to withdraw when Cash wasn't feeling quite right but hope to see him out and about soon. Good on her for putting her horse first.♥️

Late horse show recap post! I coached at a recent horse show at Portofino with two of my amazing students Meghan and Lyndsay. Meghan ran in the Beginner Novice as a prep run for championships with her amazing unicorn Copper. Lyndsay brought her new young horse, Remi, for his first event in Green as Grass. Both did amazing and I am so proud to be their coach. ❤️

I had a bit of a fail on the photographer front—totally forgot my camera! I didn't get any good photos this time around but thank goodness Dawn Fraser managed to snap a picture before the day was over ☺️

Day 2 functional anatomy! Day 1 was the first 1/3 of the horse and day 2 was the middle of the horse. Onto day 3 where we focus on the hind end. Learning so much and I can't wait to wrap it all up for the whole horse and bring back what I have learned to all my clients ❤️ ☺️

It was another great weekend for Team Ginger last weekend at the War Horse Event Series.
Lyndsay and Eclipse had a great dressage test which put them first after dressage and rode one of the best show jumping rounds I've seen from them but had an unfortunate couple rails to knock them down to 6th in the Novice (but they were winners in my book!)
Meghan and Copper put in the best dressage test of their career to put them tied for 3rd after dressage and added no penalty points to their score to secure the win in the Beginner Novice!
So proud of them not only for how they ride but how they love their horses and encourage and support their friends and other competitors.

Team Ginger killed it this weekend at May War Horse at the Carolina Horse Park! Lyndsay and Eclipse won their Novice division and Meghan and Copper made a successful move up to Beginner Novice to finish 4th! So proud of them both!

Day one at Longleaf is a success! Lyndsay is sitting in 1st going into cross country tomorrow for Novice and Meghan is sitting in 4th going into show jumping in Starter. So proud of these two doing their first recognized events! Onto tomorrow!

It was a great weekend at the Portofino Horse Trial! Meghan and Copper moved up to Beginner Novice and rocked her cross country but an unfortunate rail knocked them from 2nd to 4th. Lyndsay and Eclipse were in the Novice and came home with 2nd! So proud of both of them and love the fact that Portofino puts on these great shows! It's a great start to the season ❤

We've been mostly working on the flat work since our last show in September and it is paying off. We popped over a couple jumps today and he was just lovely. I put a couple clips at the end of the benefits of being right next to a busy road and across from a high school. Seville went off property to Saddletree Stables today! It was our 3rd time there and the first time we rode. He was so chill! Trailered like a dream and was a total gentleman.
