Paige Drobnys Sled Dogs Excited for More After 1000 Miles Iditarod 2020 Nome Alaska
With the remote Iditarod in Alaska continuining on to the finish in Nome, there are some things you can do while sheltering in place to learn about this 1,000 mile sled dog race across the Alaskan wilderness.
First: These dogs just ran to Nome and are slamming for more at the finish of Iditarod 2020!! Paige Drobny & Cody Strathe of Squid Acres Kennel (2 hours from our North American headquarters in Alaska) are mushers who we sponsor becuase of their amazing commitment to outstanding dog care. Can you believe these dogs just ran 1000 miles over nearly 10 days? Look at how excited, healthy, engaged and ready they are for more miles down the trail! "Mommy - we don't want to go 'home' yet let's keep going up the coast of Alaska where there are so few people and lots of open space".
You can feel the pride and joy that Paige feels right now. The glow of knowing you brought your dogs to Nome not just in the top 10 (7th), but stoked for more time on the trail!
