These 4 c**ts came from Montana and arrived this past week to get started! Real feel today was a high of 20° 🥶 so perfect day to saddle break them all! Truly having fun with them, all 4 are very blank slates that don’t know anything. I feel like an artist with a blank canvas, they have not been ruined by anyone and can learn pressure/release/timing and everything correct the first time. They are progressing so quickly!

4 year old Bestla made her third official run and was in the 2D. Thankful to her owners Jerrica and William Foster for sending her to get broke last winter and trusting me with her since! Excited for 2025 with this filly by Freight Train B!

Started off the New Year bright and early taking a trailer load of c**ts for their first exhibitions. This 4 year old Thoroughbred mare surprised me, she’s come a long ways on the pattern in 45 days. They all made me proud. If I am getting bored at home I’m sure the horses are too, it’s good to change the environment as it can show where holes in your training are.

My first trailer was actually my grandpas he let me use when I got a horse in middle school, it was a rusted out 2 horse straight load converted into a slant. I used it all middle school and high school until the floor fell thru when loading a horse one day (thank God I wasn’t driving). So I used my savings and bought a 3 horse slant when I was 17, put a new floor in, painted it. It got the job done. I sold that one when I moved to Texas and a 4 horse gooseneck was my first purchase when I arrived. Today, I bought a 6 horse because I outgrew the 4 horse. It’s not new, it’s an older trailer but it will get the job done and keep the horses safe. One day in a few years I’m sure I will outgrow this one, but for now I will be grateful for the journey of growth!

4th entry for 4 year old Rolex and he just feels getting more confident each time! He has turned me into an Epic Leader fan, such a good minded c**t who makes his job fun for the both of us 💛 He’s also pretty good at placing in the money, 3 for 4 runs on bringing home a check 💰

“Frenchie” is starting to put some things together! The song “Long Cool Woman” was first recommended song choice when went to add music to the video which is CRAZY because that is exactly what she is! Long bodied 4 year old mare, learning her style that works best for her conformation but I think she will be pretty cool with time! Such a smooth ride!

Mustangs are definitely a different minded animal, I stick to the quarter horses but Esther is growing on me! She has come a long ways since the horse that came to me for bucking while trying to get her started! Thankful for owners like hers who understand a horse like this needs SEVERAL months of consistency, she is really coming around lately!

Especially thankful today as I look back on the last 7 years since I started my business. I would have nothing if it weren’t for clients who have trusted me with their horses, so THANK YOU!! Not just today, but every day for blessing me with the opportunity to pursue a dream. I’ve had so many people help me along the way and I can’t help but be thankful for everyone who has played a part in my life. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving 🧡🍁

4 year old “Farrah’s Leader” by Epic Leader started his barrel career this past week! Won some money in the sidepot 2D Futurity this weekend and another check at last nights race! This one makes it fun 💛

Sometime you have to think outside the box 📦

This filly was being real difficult with her ears and started to cause issues with putting the halter and bridle on. I couldn’t fix it from the ground. So yesterday, I tied her to the stall and climbed on top and forced her to let me pet all over her ears. After a few minutes of fighting it she lowered her head and started licking and chewing. Today, she was so chill about the halter and bridle. Sometimes you just have to change your approach to get the desired outcome!
