So, had a customer over the last few weeks from NYC here teaching at Medomount in Lewis. He said my pies were giant hit at the school. Then he proceeded to tell me who ‘they’ were;
1) You should know that famous violinist, and conductor Dimitri Sitkovitzky enjoyed your other cherry pie on Friday night!
2) The next one will be sampled by James Ehnes: he has 2 Grammys and many other awards (11 Juno awards).
3) Oh, I forgot to mention Hans Jensen, Cello Professor at Northwestern University… Multiple prize winners in his students of international prizes.
And the dude who was buying all the pies to deliver is; Steven Rochen, violinist, conductor and composer. And by sheer coincidence he composed a piece called ‘a piece of the Pi’ (using the Scientific Pi symbol as used in my logo). So cool.
Other than a former President and former Secretary of State enjoying my pies. These guys are the only other ‘famous’ people that I have heard enjoyed the Pie Guy’s pies….
