RBK is a small family dog boarding business that is a “work in progress.” For our families we have heard what separates us from others is the care and attention we give the dogs that we are entrusted to host.
We are very “NON-COMMERCIALIZED” and that is intentional as we will NEVER take more dogs then what we can individually “LOVE ON” which does proposed problems as we limit our numbers of dogs we take at one time which then means we have to tell folks “we are full.”
We are looking at adjusting our setup to accommodate more dogs but never will be get “to big” to forfeit our original philosophy of caring for others dog the way we want our dogs to be cared for.
As we soon enter into our 3rd year of boarding, having hosted 270+ dogs, and only having one dog who was asked not to return (it bit me and the owner did not see the real issue) we have been blessed with multiple returning families, new families contacting us almost daily and having both daycare and boarded dogs daily we have been blessed!
We are close to being at capacity for the next several weeks with many days being “sold out” we thank our CPL RBK families and we are most blessed and excited about the relationships we have had and continue to have with so many people!
Pretty cool stuff! Being blessed to have been breeding Labrador Retrievers for 6 years and now having our boarding service into our 3rd year (in August) we get to be reunited with dogs we were blessed to have bread. This weekend is an example…
Here at Red Barn Kennel we have an awesome time running and playing in the acre fence-in play area. RBK is filling up for the Summer. We are completely sold out Memorial Weekend, much of June. July is filling up! Contacts us ASAP to put in your reservation before we are filled up!

June 2022 Facility Update...
It is Spring Break Season 2022! Completely full in Phase 1 of our kennel facility.
Phase 2 is partially complete but was able to host 3 additional dogs last night. When Phase 2 is completed we will be able to host 10-12+ dogs and begin to offer our daycare RBK “Playcare” to
the many people who have shown and interest.
Sammy begins day 2 of our Winter 2022 litter from Ginger and Hank heading home to their forever families!
Phase 2 is underway! Hopefully the barrel wood stove will be installed this week, insulation put up around the wall area and on top of the ceiling, lighting installed and then the kennels.
A special thank you for Mark (my brother-in-law) and Jim (a CPL Family member form Ginger's Spring 2021 Litter - Nova) for giving of your time to do this project. It is awesome!

We will be soon renovating this space … an indoor play area here at CPL Red Barn Kennel. This will be an awesome addition as we head into the Winter months as well as it will be a blessing for the dogs for a place to play when it is raining like it did all day today!
