About Our Journey
Peace of Mind Dog Training, LLC has come about after working with animals professionally for the last 14 years. Just recently Kate recognized the need for a skilled dog trainer specializing in behavior modification. Kate’s main goal is to help dogs and their human families better understand each other. Often within one family there are different personality types needing to learn how to communicate effectively with their dogs. Having gone to school for psychology, this is one of the tools she uses to help families have peace of mind inside and outside of the home so they can enjoy their beloved dog.
Kate uses a balanced approach to dog training; meaning that she uses positive reinforcement and correction. As with humans it is important for dogs to understand what behavior is allowed and what behavior is not allowed. In fact dogs crave this. A happy dog has exercise, discipline and affection.
Kate is also offering the exercise part only if that’s what your pet may be lacking. While you are busy juggling your schedule, Kate will give your dog the work out they need so you can come home to a peaceful pet.
