Better late than never! Here is 2 wins from the last couple weeks. Fabulous Candy closed from last to first shortening back up to 6 furlongs!
And Bachelorette made it back to a track she absolutely loves and scored at Charlestown!

APRIL FOOLS ANDY tackles the turf at Laurel, running them down from last to first! As the longest shot on the board, he paid $20.60 for the win. We look forward to seeing the gorgeous gelding run against Delaware Certified company in his next start back home. Congrats to John Conforti and a big thank you to Carol Cedeno! 🍻

NAPOLEON’S WAR is tearing up the turf!
Stepping up to allowance company he scored by a neck making this his third win on the turf. This horse is by far a barn favorite and has a lot of supporters behind him. We always hoped he would love the grass and boy were we right! Thank you Jose Batista for the great, confident ride on him. Win #4 🍻

NAPOLEON’S WAR held on to win by a whisker!
This very sweet and fun son of War Front has decided that the turf is the only thing for him and he’s doing a great job of tearing it up! It took a village to get this boy to where he is, and everyone has done a great job! Thank you John Hiraldo for a determined ride. 🍻🍻 #3

PISTOL OR SHOTGUN… this horse has been in my stable 3 separate times in his 5 years. In may 2021 I purchased him in partners with my very good client Lewis Mathews Jr. After a second place finish in his first start at Delaware park, we sold him privately. Over a year later in the fall of 2022 Lewis purchased him back and we broke his maiden at Delaware Park. He was then claimed from us in February 2023. We tried claiming him back shortly after but was unsuccessful and thankfully he had amazing connections that kept us well informed. They were kind enough to give me a call in the fall of 2023 and offered him back to me. Now May 2024 he has another win at Delaware Park and has ran no worse than second at his home track. Though he may not be a superstar, he loves us and loves this track. Thank you my “boomerang” for always coming back and for welcoming us home. We both love it here. ❤️ First win of the meet with two great thirds also.

First off the claim DESERT RULER fought back incredibly hard down the stretch to score his first Allowance win! This gorgeous gray gelding(inside) has a lot of attitude and grit that he definitely showed today. Congrats to owner John Conforti and an incredible ride by John Hiraldo! Thank you to my team for their hard work year round. 🍻

VICIOUS MOVES took the long road to the races but made it very rewarding for Come What May Racing!
In her second start (first time long), she sat back nice and relaxed and waited her opportunity to shine. Thank you so much for a great ride by John Hiraldo who dedicated this win to his friend Luis Yamil Marcano, a fellow jockey, who passed away on Sunday night in Puerto Rico. Congrats to my team! It’s been tough, but it’s been fun! Cheers 🍻

2023 was our best year yet!
204 starts, 25 wins, 20 seconds, and 26 thirds.
12% wins, 35% top three.
We acquired a lot of new horses, lost a few we loved along the way, and welcomed back some familiar faces. We have had great owners who trust and support our team. Cheers to 2024! Let’s see what we can do 🍻

APRIL FOOLS ANDY gave us our first winner in the beautiful sunshine state! This 3 year old gelding by Summer Front is now 3 for 3 on the turf. He won impressively by over 5 lengths on Saturday going a 1 1/16th in 1:39.81 Getting off the duck has been a little difficult, but we are always thankful. Thank you to Carol Cedeno for being such a great team with this horse. Congrats to owner John Conforti! 🍻

The 2023 Delaware Park Meet came to an end yesterday. I am so proud of our stable, my team, and the owners that got us through it. We shed lots of tears, mostly joy, and are happy to say we finished 4th in the standings with NINETEEN wins, 13 seconds, and 16 thirds out of 106 starts and a few wins around the area.
Unbelievable to think we could’ve done this coming out of a not so great winter. We welcomed many new horses to the lineup and lost a few we loved. CMRS has an exciting move coming this week when we head to Tampa Bay Downs. This summer had been very great to us and we hope the winter will treat us well. Thank you so much to everyone and the horses who made this possible! Here are a few highlights from the meet. 🍺🎉

CHIEF RON has finally made it back to the winners circle this year giving us win number 19 on the closing week. This special guy will be very missed in our barn and we wish him the best of luck with his new connections. Congrats to owner John Conforti and thank you John Hiraldo who has been his pilot for 4 of his 5 career wins. 🍺🎉

Our stable is moving south to Tampa Bay Downs for the winter and we will be in need of exercise riders. Good salary with a day off, opportunity to pony afternoons if wanted. We have a very friendly and easy barn with classy horses to ride. If you are interested please send us a message.
