It’s the 1st of February 🌼 and today is all about Daisy! Pitties and Purrs Rescue, Inc Adoptable of the month!

Miss Daisy is so incredibly sweet and anyone would be lucky to have her. She originally came from Georgia and we believe around 6 years old. That said she is for sure medium to high energy, but crashes at night time and is so cute when sleeping. She’s extremely loyal and loving (in her own unique way). She’s shy at first but quick to warm. She has come such a long way with her confidence as well since she originally went to foster.

Daisy is house and crate trained, knows basic training, and her recall is increasing daily. Walks and meal times are a breeze with Daisy, too. She enjoys challenging toys and chewing them into submission. She loves to chew her toys only second to chasing them down in an exciting game of fetch. She is dog friendly and plays second fiddle just fine.

The Rescue With a Heart …
Pitties and Purrs Rescue Inc. is a small, foster-based rescue in Baltimore, MD. Their rescue dogs come from all over the country in order to be rehabilitated and to ultimately find their forever homes. Because P&P is a foster-based rescue, they completely rely on their incredible volunteers to care for & to temporarily welcome the dogs and cats into their homes to prepare them for adoption. :

We are so honored to introduce Ace today on New “Atti”tudesday! Not only is Ace handsome he is deaf 🤍 When we reached out to his human about what kind of bow tie he might like, she said anything that supports the deaf!!

From his mom: I work for an Animal Control and had responded to a complaint for a deaf dog that had been abandoned in an apartment after his owner lost his job and packed up and moved. Upon responding I heard Ace in distress and howling inside of the apartment. Upon seeing Ace I immediately fell in love with him but could not think about adopting him due to having a dog at home that was not friendly. During the time of his cruelty hold I ended up having to put my dog down and was super depressed. I ended up visiting Ace every day during his cruelty hold and the more I visited him the more I fell in love with him. By the time his cruelty hold was over I knew he was meant to be mine and ended up bringing him home with me. Ace is the best dog I could ever ask for and such a blessing. :
