Established privately owned veterinary hospital looking for a Full-time Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. Candidates must be dedicated, dependable, hard-working, possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy small medical office environment. Prior experience working in a veterinary hospital strongly preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities include everything from administrative (answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking in client & patient, etc.), assisting doctor during exams, filling prescriptions, client education, running in-house lab diagnostics (CBC/Chem & urinalysis), phlebotomy & taking radiographs. This position requires someone who is willing to get involved with all aspects of working in a small animal hospital.

Candidates must also be available to work at least every other Saturday morning.

Full-time benefits include paid vacation/holiday/sick days, health insurance, retirement fund/401(k) matching, generous employee discounts and a pleasant work environment. Pay is commensurate with experience.
