1938 70-year-old Elizabeth Arnold
Even though she was only a reported 5ft tall, Elizabeth was a darn good blacksmith who was thought to be the only female blacksmith in England in the early 20th century. Shoeing a horse outside of a 400 year-old forge in Kent. She was still working when she was 70 years old and was said to have been able to swing a 10lb sledgehammer like no one’s business.

Well it is official, our first farm show horse! Dash had her first show at WEC and got a 5th & 6th place ribbon! Great job to Josh for working with and finding out that Dash loves to jump! The two of them were champs this weekend! So proud!!!

Today's training session ended up with Josh & North and Colleen & Summer completely soaked after getting caught in a downpour, so much for the weatherman. We ended up with almost an inch of rain in 30 mins!!! Still can't believe Josh was still smiling!!!

Here he or she is, heart beating!!! Half sibling to the 2024 Ky Derby Winner, Mystik Dan! Dam is Sheza Pop Star. Hopefully, we will have 3 of Mystik Dan's siblings at our farm next year!
