Puppies learn so many important things within that first eight weeks! They learn how to play, respect boundaries, and inhibit biting through playtime with their siblings and mother. 🥰
If a puppy is too rough with their mother, she will give a low growl or gentle bite which teaches the puppy about appropriate play behavior. NO SHARK TEETH PLEASE! 🦈

How is your pups RECALL⁉️ If it is poor or inconsistent, their safety can be… eventually WILL BE at risk.
We know it can be a struggle so here is a step by step guide on how we train our WBG pack to “Come”.🐶🐾 No dog is too old!
1️⃣**Start in a Controlled Environment**
- Begin in a quiet, enclosed space like your home or a fenced yard where there are minimal distractions. (One dog at a time!)
2️⃣ **Choose a Recall Command**
- Use a consistent command, like “Come” or “Here,” and say it in a happy, excited tone.
3️⃣**Use High-Value Rewards**
- Have treats, toys, or praise ready. The reward should be something your puppy really loves, so they associate coming to you with something positive.
4️⃣**Get Their Attention**
- Call your puppy’s name to get their attention, then use the recall command. You can also crouch down or clap your hands to make yourself more inviting.
5️⃣**Reward Immediately**
- As soon as your puppy starts coming toward you, praise them enthusiastically. When they reach you, give them the treat or toy and lots of praise.
6️⃣**Practice Short Distances First**
- Start with short distances and gradually increase the distance as your puppy gets better at coming to you.
7️⃣ **Practice Frequently**
- Short, frequent sessions are better than long ones. Keep the training sessions positive and end on a good note.
8️⃣**Introduce Distractions Gradually**
- Once your puppy consistently comes when called in a controlled environment, slowly introduce distractions. Start with mild distractions and increase them as your puppy improves.
9️⃣**Never Punish for Coming Late**
- If your puppy doesn’t come immediately or gets distracted, never punish them when they finally come to you. This could make them afraid to come next time.
1️⃣0️⃣**Make Recall Fun**
- Turn recall into a game by running away from your puppy, playing hide and seek, or using a long leash to let them roam a bit
