Thank you to everyone who came to our Thanksgiving Soup Supper last Saturday. And a really big thank you to everyone who prepared and donated food, helped serve, and then clean up. It was a fun evening with good results - your generosity will help us cover the winter utilities!

Looking forward to having you join us at the High Bridge Fire House Community Center this Saturday starting at 6 p.m. There will be a variety of soups and chilies, sandwiches, chips, drinks, and a table full of desserts! Local favorites "Country Memories" will be playing also. $10 per adult, and $5 for children 12 and under. Help us raise funds to cover the Fire House utilities!

Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 16th, 6 p.m. for a Thanksgiving Soup Supper at the High Bridge Fire House Community Center. This is a fundraiser to help with ongoing expenses of the Center (water, electricity, propane, insurance, annual rent to Norfolk Southern). Local favorite "Country Memories" will be playing also.

Concerts on the Wilmore Downtown Green this weekend, starting on Friday night, 7/12, with the Meadow Green Trio, a gospel & bluegrass band out of Clay City KY. On Saturday The McLain Firmly Band from Berea will be playing. This is an internationally known bluegrass band playing outstanding music. Both concerts start at 6 p.m. and are free but attendees are asked to bring donations of canned foods for the local Wilmore-High Bridge Community Service Center and the Jessamine County Animal Shelter. Chairs on the Green or bring your own. Food trucks both nights, so plan to have supper on the Green and enjoy great music! SEE YOU ON THE GREEN AT 6 P.M.!

US68 400 Mile Yard Sale coming to 9533 Harrodsburg Rd (Servant Heart Farm) on June 6-9, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Vendor applications available at www.wilmore.org, under Events or emailing [email protected]. There will be free parking, porta potties, antiques and junk, new stuff and old, bargains and bargains, food trucks, and just a fun time. Shoppers and vendors wanted! This is the official Jessamine County site! Rain or shine event.

Go to www.wilmore.org, click on Events, and then on Coaster Car Derby for details. Boys and girls race, starting age of 7. Free event. Great fun to watch the kids race down E. Main in Wilmore!

Fund raiser with food, music and silent auction at the High Bridge Fire House Community Center. Pulled pork or chicken salad sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, mac & cheese, chips, tea & lemonade, desserts: suggested donations of $10 for adults and $5 for children 11 and under. Music by High Bridge resident Scott Collins and visiting performer Pat Maue. Silent Auction items include Howard Fain print "The Catch" and 4 Paul Sawyier prints: Young Kentucky Fisherman, Wintertime at Camp Nelson, The H**p Breaker, and Sky High Bridge. Saturday at 6 p.m. Come on out!
