Before I started The Fresh Pet Parlor my job was to drive a bus picking up students at various locations in the area. Some of these students lived up dirt roads, remote locations and many had elderly, or disabled caretakers. Their beloved pet(s) were often tied in the yard because they were too dirty to bring in the house. Reaching out to these pets was what started The Fresh Pet Parlor. Our main goal is to reach out to those pet owners in the community that can’t bring their pet into town to be groomed. We pick-up and return your pet in a Safe Ride equipped Explorer. Your pet is tethered, with a soft touch breast harness, to ensure a safe ride to and from our grooming trailer. Clients are welcome to bring their pet(s) to the grooming trailer themselves if they so choose. Our transport service is FREE of charge for those living in and around the Valley Springs area! A minimal fee is charged for those outside of the immediate area (Sonora, Tuolumne, Jackson, Modesto). We are just a phone call away!
