Last week, we traveled to Alabama to meet with Veterinary Students at two schools!

Our first stop was at Auburn, where we hosted a dinner and shared an interesting case with students. Special thanks to Heather Griffin, an Auburn CVM student and Vets Pets ambassador, for her help with the event.

Next, we headed just down the road to the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, where we did a presentation Triage to the students over lunch. What a fantastic turnout!

Today, we celebrated the grand opening of our new, state-of-the-art facility for Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital! We had a fantastic turnout from our team, referring community, colleagues, and family.

Vets Pets hosted its third annual run/walk/bike fitness challenge in August. Collectively, we recorded over 3900 miles! This week, we celebrated one of our outstanding practices as the champions of our Puurfect Pace Challenge!

We gathered for a parking lot BBQ, and our very own CEO, Steve Thomas (tag him), showcased his grilling skills. It was a fun-filled evening!

A huge shoutout to Oak Heart Veterinary Hospital at Person Street for leading the way by logging the most miles! Your dedication is truly inspiring.

Meet Dr. Kathryn Kammerer, a new member of the Vets Pets family! She's a seasoned veterinarian with a passion for animal care. Originally from Utah, she brings a wealth of experience from co-founding Red Barn Mobile Veterinary Services.

Dr. Kammerer specializes in preventative medicine, geriatric care, internal medicine, and dentistry. She's also on her way to becoming a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring North Carolina's triangle area, spending time with her family, and indulging in hobbies like hiking, skiing, gardening, and scuba diving. You can find Dr. Kammerer at Healing Paws Veterinary Hospital.

Meet Pickles, Our Feline Friend.

We'd like you to meet Pickles, a charming kitty with a heartwarming tale. Pickles found her way to our Wilson Veterinary Hospital when she needed someone to care for her the most.

One of our compassionate veterinarians stepped up to offer her a temporary home until she could recover, and guess what? Pickles settled into her new home seamlessly and became a permanent member of their family.

Today, we celebrate stories like Pickles', where love and care find a way to change lives, one paw at a time.
