As well as working with young, old and problem horses as well as Draft Horses in the stock with Joe Johnson. Horses should always land flat, level and the hooves should be uniformed. I went to Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School. I have mentored with the best farriers in the area including but not limited to Joe Johnson, Blair Reins CJF, and Dustin Formanack. But I am interested and perform all typ

es of methods to get not only a horse healthy, happy and sound but make the owners happy with the performance as well as the quality. I take a little bit in the beginning to evaluate the horses and get to know them so we can all be friends. Includes scratching and so forth just to get to know the horse as an animal. I am patient with young horses and old horses, simply because I don't believe in fighting with horses to get their feet done.

Keep in mind I no longer carry goat milk products with me to calls as i got a work truck to focus on the horses, if I am coming to for a call to your house and you would like any products from PWR Creations; please shoot me a text the night before and I'll be sure to pack your order into the work truck.

Nothing like watching lame horses walk thru a parade.😢 Thank you for bringing horses (horses in parades are rare now) but that particular horse could have stayed home.

Another white line disease story 🫣

Cracks in the hoof capsule are screaming at you that there is a problem. A fully functioning foot will not crack and will remain strong. The armour - the hoof wall -will defy the huge forces that are put apon it by dissipating energy with its microscopic structure of “plastics, and rods” the intertubular horn and tubules. Along with its perfect mechanism to deform under load and spring back to its original state, it is a miracle of bio engineering.

Until it’s not.

Until it cracks or it warps, or it deforms.

A tiny crack in the armour can lead to what you see in the photo- white line disease.

It’s our responsibility as caregivers to attend to our horses feet or give them the terrain that they can use to self trim.
