Kick Off Jumperland highlights:

Emma and FHF Little Poet swept the .65m Jumpers. They also won the Low Jumper Stakes! This was Tegan’s first jumper show! She’s pricing to be a very versatile pony and is for lease this season!

Grace and Farnley Spellbinder had their first appearance in the jumper ring and placed 2nd in a great group of riders. Grace piloted Dublin to 3rd in the Low Jumper Stake and was 4th in the pairs class with Emma and Tegan!

Sam and Brio played in the .75m classes one day and won a 6th place together!
Sam catch rode Demitasse for Chloe and won a 2nd and 4th in a competitive.75m jumper division on Saturday.
Sam also catch rode Rio’s Ballerina W and was 2nd in the low jumper stake on Sunday!

Peyton and Glassview’s Party Boy played in the puddle jumpers and won the stake class on Sunday!!

Grace Humber and Redemption HVF were champions in the 1.0m jumper division and reserve in the 1.10m jumpers! They were 2nd in the high jumper stake and 2nd in the pairs class teamed up with Morgan Seabolt and Thing! 👏🏻

Molly and Catoki’s Way Z were champion in the 1.10m jumpers and won the high stake! They were 3rd in the pairs class with Sam and Demi!

Sarah and Dude played in the puddle jumpers (literally☔️🌧️) and did great!!

Mouse won the dog show and Pickle tormented her handlers who were trying to win. 🤣

The Kick Off Show Jumperland weekend was hosted at home this year! If you know me, I am most at home in the jumper ring, so it was a privilege to get to host this show! We debuted our new jumps and set a lovely course provided by /
Our hunters got to come out and play for the weekend and a good time was had by all!

1.10m Jumper Champion one weekend, Zone 4 IEA Horse of the Show the next weekend! Coti’s versatility continues to shine as he helped several riders at Zone 4 Finals in the Open Division win their classes! He was honored with Horse of the Show today! So proud and grateful for this boy! 🐴❤️

Two weekends of Kick Off Shows are in the books! This year we got to stay home and enjoy a simplified Kick Off Show experience. Last weekend was Hunter week at Fox Lake Farm. Our team has some new faces, new partnerships, and have much to celebrate!!!

Everly and our new pony “Love Story” attended their first AHJA show together! They took a clean sweep of the 8 & under Walk Trot Equitation division for Champion honors!

Reagan and Cashmere were Reserve Champions in the 8 & under Crosspole Hunter and equitation divisions and won 8th in the Beginner Derby!

Peyton and Glassview’s Party Boy won great placings in a big 9 & over cross pole group including a 2nd in their eq over fences. They also won 6th in the Beginner Derby!

Chloe and Demitasse had a successful first show together placing top three in most of their classes in the competitive Pre Children’s and Modified divisions. They also won 3rd place in the Under Saddle Invitational!!!

Sam and Cabriole FHF had solid rounds in schooling Hunter and baby greens!

Annalise and Rio’s Ballerina W had some solid rounds and placed 4th in one of their Pre Children’s equitation over fences!

Emma and our new baby horse “Well Played” brought home two seconds and a 3rd in Hopeful Hunter!

Grace and her new green pony Farnley Spellbinder were Champions in Children’s Pony Hunter, Reserve Champion in Children’s Pony Eq and 8th in the Under Saddle Invitational!

Scarlet and FHF Pippapotamus stepped up to the Children’s Pony Hunters with style! Earning top ribbons and putting in some amazing rides and coming home with Reserve Champion!

Sam and Catoki’s Way Z were Champions in the Children’s Equitation division and WON the Junior Board Equitation Challenge! 🏆 They also scored an 87 in the handy round of the derby!

Congratulations girls! We are so proud of you! Thank you to for all your help getting the ponies and kids ready and coaching them to success with me! 👏🏻🏆🐴🌟

Shout out to our rider, Rosie Akins, for an amazing first season with . After a tough work off for the tie breaker, Rosie won Reserve Champion High Point rider in the Open Division for her region, as a freshman no less! She also won her Open Flat individual class at Regionals today! Congratulations to the Berry Team for being Region Champions! Best of luck at IHSA Zone finals! 👏🏻🎉💙

“We either win or we learn” 👏🏻🏆

Last night we celebrated a wonderful 2024 AHJA and USEF show season! Congratulations to our riders for all of their accomplishments!

🏆 Jane Ellen King and Sailor’s Delight: Reserve Champion USEF Green Pony Hunters, Reserve Champion Regular Pony Medal, 4th place USEF Regular Pony Hunter, 3rd place AHJA Regular Pony Hunter, and 5th place Schooling Pony Hunter! They also won the Carousel Tack Shoppe Small Pony Hunter Trophy!!

🏆 Emma Threlkeld and Demitasse were CHAMPIONS of the Pre Children/Adult Hunters, Reserve Champions in Modified Hunter, and 6th in the Pre Child/Adult Equitation!

🏆 Samantha Higgins and Rio’s Ballerina W were 3rd in Schooling Hunter, 5th in the Pre Children’s/Adult Hunters, and a very close 3rd in the Pre Child/Adult Equitation division!

🏆 Willa Bear Akins and Van D’Ark won CHAMPION honors in the AHJA Hunters, Junior/AO, Junior Medal, and the USEF Junior Hunters!

🏆Scarlet Akins and FHF Pippapotamus were CHAMPION in Starting Hunter, 3rd in the Short Stirrup Equitation, and 3rd in Short Stirrup Hunter!

🏆 Grace Owens and Glassview’s Party Boy were Reserve Champions in Starting Hunter, Reserve Champions in Short Stirrup Equitation, and 4th in Short Stirrup Hunter!

🏆 Regan McLean and Abba Cadabra were CHAMPIONS in the 8 & under Walk/Trot Hunter & Equitation divisions!

🏆 Peyton Ludwick and Hello Dolly were 4th in the 8 & under Walk/Trot Hunter and Equitation divisions only showing in a handful of shows!

🏆 Jodee Cole and Cashmere won 5th place in Long Stirrup Hunter and 6th Place in Long Stirrup Equitation in very few shows!

🏆 Chloe Langswager and Odelia had limited showing this year but deserves recognition for being just out of the ribbons in several divisions! She came along to support her team at the banquet anyway which makes her a winner in our eyes! 👏🏻

🏆 Grace Humber and her horses Redemption HVF and Cartier had a successful show season with Hidden Hills Equestrian Center! They won countless top placings and finished her junior career on a high note! 🎉

Long post. Please read to the end. 🙏🏻
One of my favorite songs has a line that says,

“Way back on the radio dial, the fire got lit inside a bright eyed child”

For me, is that “radio dial”. I started lessons at age 5( first picture on Jet). I went to summer camp as soon as I was old enough. I went through the stages of earning my Beginner Certificate, Intermediate Certificate , I graduated off of lesson horses and got my very first lease horse then my first horse of my own (second picture with Teague). I became a counselor and fell in love with teaching and training horses. With much hard work, I earned my Advanced Certificates. Mrs. Pam was my absolute inspiration. She was Super Pam to us. She taught us so much more than riding lessons. I spent every waking moment at the barn. Working for free, working for rides, begging to ride any extra horses, sitting in the ring to watch lessons. I met most of my lifelong friends at El Gezira. I eventually earned my Instructor’s Certificate and started training up horses myself. I cried for a full day when I moved to a barn of my own because there just were not words to thank Mrs. Pam for everything she had taught me. She is and always has been such a staple in the Alabama Equestrian community.

Fast forward 13 years, I woke up to the most devastating photos and news. The barn I called home for most of my life, was absolutely destroyed in a storm. The covered arena we were so blessed to ride in, buckled to the ground. The boarding barn where all my horses lived, had the roof completely ripped off of it. Thankfully, all the horses and farm residents are safe! The farm is in need of the horse community to help it get back on its feet. If you have read this far, thank you. Coti hasn’t quite found his new kid for Christmas. However, this horse has always been such a gift to me and my riders, that I couldn’t resist adding him to the family. I am so excited to welcome Catoki’s Way Z officially to Falcon Hill Farm! I am enjoying having him home for right now, but he is still available for lease to any ambitious riders looking to step into the equitation ring! 🤩🧡🎄

Falcon Hill Farm is excited to announce our new assistant trainer! Grace Humber’s accomplishments extend far beyond what you’ve seen of her in the show ring. She is skilled in bringing along young horses. She has textbook equitation and is versatile in her style of riding. Most importantly, she was raised on her family’s farm and knows the ins and outs of proper horse care. We are always thrilled to have a fellow “barn rat” on the team! Welcome Grace! 🎉👏🏻
