Falcon Hill Farm Full service Hunter/Jumper/Dressage Equestrian facility located just 30 miles south of Birmingham, AL. We offer lessons, training, shows, and sales.

Falcon Hill Farm is owned and run by the McCown family. We focus on Hunter/Jumper and Dressage training, traveling to both local and AA rated events. We always have a selection of horses for sale or lease. Feel free to message for more information.

The show girls really shined today! 🤩

Scarlet and Pippa were reserve Champions in schooling pony!
Grace catch rode Tegan to some very nice placings in schooling and children’s pony!

Everly and Princess were Reserve Champion in 8 & under cross poles!

Regan debuted her new pony, Show Girl aka “Flossie” in the younger walk trot division and placed 2nd in a large competitive class! This 4 year old and her sweet kid have a bright future!

Peyton and Bam Bam had lovely rounds in their cross pole division with top placings!

Regan and Cashmere were 1st in their equitation rides and had nice crosspole hunter rounds as well!

Baby Leo and were Champions in Hopeful Hunter! He thoroughly enjoyed his prize!

Sam and Brio were Reserve Champion in Baby Green and had nice rounds and placings in Schooling Hunter!

Sam and Coti won their Eq over fences and were 2nd on the flat!

Chloe and Demi were champions in Pre Children’s Hunter! Grace H piloted Demi to Champion in modified when Chloe had to jet off to hoco! 💃🏼

Baby Lana attended her first show with her owner, Grace H and strutted around a big flat class with just a few baby green moments. At just three years old she handled everything so well and is just stunning to watch move!

Last but not least, Grace H and Cartier were champions in Schooling Hunter and Emma piloted him to the win in the Pre Children’s Equitation over fences! 👏🏻🏆💙

to the day of my senior prom in high school. I had the amazing opportunity to ride in the Frank Madden clinic which happened to be the same weekend. I remember so well getting to the barn super early, riding in our 2 hour session, taking care of Cento, and jetting home to shower and change. My hair wasn’t curled or anything fancy, I did my own makeup, and I fell asleep on the couch not even 15 minutes after we got home from prom, only to wake up early and head right back to the barn! . 🤣 I learned that riding not only required sacrifices, but it requires balance. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to ride in that clinic which taught me lessons that I now teach to my students 15 years later! I love reflecting on this moment because it shows just how small decisions can shape your future. I’m blessed beyond words to get to call this my career. Though in the moment things feel a bit chaotic, I’m thankful I was able to pave this path I’m on, one busy weekend at a time. 🥰🐴

Great show weekend!

Everly and Princess got top ribbons in the 8 & under walk trot and moved up to crossrails earning Champion honors! 🏆

Peyton and Bam Bam earned solid placings in a huge competitive 9 & over Crosspoles division!

Emma and Cartier had a great show winning 2nd in both equitation classes and putting in nice trips in each class! Thank you Emma for putting in a long day feeding the horses back at the farm, coming to show, and staying to feed and help ice the horses who showed!! I appreciate the help and love to see the horsemanship! ☺️❤️

Chloe and Demi had solid placing in Pre Children’s and were Champions in Modified Hunter! 🏆

Brio won 5th in a very competitive Schooling Hunter class and was Reserve Champion in Baby Green!

Grace and Coti had some nice rounds in Low Hunter despite his celebrations after some of the jumps! 🤣

The FHF show girls had a wonderful time Saturday at the Dean Equestrian show!

Chloe and Demi were double champions in Pre Child/Adult and Modified Hunter! Chloe also was 2nd in the eq flat and 1st in the eq over fences! 🏆🐿️

Sam and Brio were Reserve Champions in schooling Hunter with a win over fences! This pair continues to make me proud with their progress!

Sam piloted Coti to a 4th and 2nd in Low Hunter in good company and were 2nd on the flat and 1st over fences in the Children’s Equitation!

Reagan and Cashmere are back at it with solid rounds and top ribbons including two Reserve Champions!

Everly and Princess had nice rounds in their WT 8 & under division and won both equitation classes!!

Grace H and Baby Leo won all three Hopeful Hunter classes for Champion Honors! 💙🏆

Grace Owens put in solid rounds in Schooling and Children’s pony aboard her green pony Dublin! She earns top ribbons in a big competitive group including a second in the equitation over fences! ❤️

We had a great weekend in Huntsville kicking off our fall shows!

Birthday girl Everly won her eq flat and had great ribbons in the Walk Trot 8&under division on Love Story!

Peyton and Bam Bam brought home great ribbons in their competitive cross rail 9 and over division!

Baby Leo had his first away show experience! Grace piloted him around starting Hunter for his first time ever and he was so brave with zero prep! They later in the day won Champion in Hopeful Hunter winning both over fences!

Scarlet and Pippa clean swept their hunter classes for double Champion in Schooling Pony and Children’s Pony!

Grace O and Dublin were reserve champions in Children’s Pony with lovely rounds!

Sam and Brio were Reserve Champions in Baby Green Hunter!

Sam won both Children’s Equitation classes on Coti and also won 2nd in both Low Hunter rounds as a warm up!

Demitasse ridden by Hollon Easterwood was Reserve Champion in Pre Children’s Hunter! Thank you for letting Hollon catch ride her for us!

Grace H won all three Modified Hunter classes for champion honors on Demitasse!

Thank you to all the riders who supported our Jumper Nights show this year! We had a great crowd! Thank you and for attending to keep us hydrated and fueled! 🍔🍹

Special shout out to Penney and Avery for being fabulous MC’s and Josh for stepping in as our timer when we hit technical difficulties. Thank you and for judging for us! 🐴

Our FHF riders had a great show!

Academy: Everly and Princess & Peyton and Bam Bam earned several top ribbons in their academy classes and got in some good practice for the upcoming Hunter shows.
65m jumpers: Emma and Tegan won the speed round! Scarlet and Pippa were 4th and 6th in a huge group of fast and clean riders!
75m jumpers: Chloe and Demi were 1st and 6th!
85m jumpers: Chloe and Demi were 1st and 2nd! Rosie and Carl were 6th in their one round!
95m: Rosie and Carl were 3rd and 3rd with lovely clean rounds.

1.00: Grace and Coti were 3rd as this was their warm up class. 👏🏻

1.10m: Grace and Coti schooled around nicely with clear rounds for two blues!
