Congratulations to FITZWILLIAM on earning his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title!

You may have seen Fitzwilliam’s handlers or his canine siblings/cousins in different classes over the years, as his family has trained their Akitas (plus a Basenji and a Clumber) with CTBS since 1991.
While Fitzwilliam is a lovable goofball, the Akita is a complex breed that requires a lot of work and patience and is not ideal for first-time dog families—Mr. Fitz (as Coach Patti calls him) is his family’s first Akita to title in 33 years! A breed not for the faint of heart!

From his family: “Our training success (even for our beloved doggos who aren’t going to earn titles) is due in large part to the patience, kindness, consistency, and great instruction provided by Margaret Reed and Patti Fernandes. From their puppyhood until they’re senior dogs, we’ve always brought them to Peggy and Patti for training. Our dogs love them, and so do we!”

CONGRATULATIONS to Roseann Reggiano and Theresa Viesto on their first home-bred CHAMPION Tiger Rose Stone of Wisdom RN, CGC, CGCA, CGCU, TKN, RN, on completing the requirements for their American Kennel Club CHAMPIONSHIP!! We are so proud of Ro for winning several of the points as an owner-handler and for her commitment to the breed. Special mention to Kaki Fisher for making the dream come true-you truly are the consumate professional!

We could not be prouder of CTBS, LLC instructor, Sara Williams, and her Labrador, Tempe, on achieving dual AKC titles this past weekend. Sara also achieved the rare distinction of earning a perfect score of 200 and first place in the Beginner Obedience Class! Congratulations, Ladies on a job well done!🏆🥇

It has truly been an AMAZING weekend at the Thanksgiving Dog Show Cluster at the Big E Fairgrounds in West Springfield-so much to report! We send our CONGRATULATIONS to Laura Curry and her Great Dane, Harlem, who was awarded Third place with a score of 97 for her second Intermediate Leg in Rally. This was her first indoor event and her highest score in Rally competition to date. Toughest competition yet with a field of 13 at Windham County KC in West Springfield-Way to go Team!!

We have enjoyed watching the Tiger Rose Labrador Retriever's develop through the hard work and dedication of owner, Theresa Reggiano Viesto, and her family over the past 10 years. This past weekend on the Vermont show circuit, "Hola"~ CH Tigerrose Hola Mi Amor at Chinar’s CGC, TKN, TKI, was awarded a Group 2 placement in the Sporting Group, handled by Kaki Fisher, under judge Paula Nykiel. It's just a matter of time before he adds a Blue rosette to his group ribbon collection! Congratulations to his owner, Angela Viesto, on his latest achievement and breeder, Theresa, for producing such an outstanding exhibit! Well done, Ladies!🏆🥇

Winning Group placements is never an easy venture but CH TIGERROSE HOLA MI AMOR AT CHINARS CGC TKN TKI, a Black Labrador Retriever, owned by Angela Marie Viesto, and bred by her sister, Theresa Rose Reggiano, has done it twice in two weeks! These gals never give up and have made great strides with their dogs both in conformation and performance events. Their hard work is paying off and a little help from Kaki Fisher doesn't hurt! Way to go team! Youre on a roll!🏆🥇

We are so proud of Laura Curry and her Great Dane, Chinar's Every Moment Counts, CGC, on being awarded their first point towards their American Kennel Club Championship. Your hard work is paying off!! Oh, and as an added surprise, they had a chance meeting with CBS Broadcaster, Anderson Cooper, while he was filming a segment for "60 Minutes" to be aired in the Fall!
